This opening 30 minutes or so of WWE Raw this week was pure madness. The show opened with Paul Heyman lambasting Seth Rollins for doing Logan Paul dirty inside the Elimination Chamber. The Vision‘s mouthpiece dubbed Rollins a thief, who stole the credit for co-forming the Vision and the Shield as well. ‘The Oracle’ also affirmed that ‘The Visionary’ stole the WrestleMania main event from ‘The Maverick’.

After Heyman vowed to beat Rollins up on behalf of The Vision, General Manager Adam Pearce made his way out and asked the villainous trio to leave the ring so that he could have a conversation with ‘The Visionary’, who wasn’t medically cleared to compete, revealed the Raw GM.

It didn’t take long for Rollins-planted decoys to abandon Heyman in the ring as Logan Paul and Austin Theory went chasing them off. A fourth imposter came down to the ramp, making ‘The Wiseman’ believe it was Seth Rollins, who sneaked in from behind and slammed a chair across Heyman’s back in a callback to his betrayal of the Shield moment.

‘The Architect’ also stomped the WWE Hall of Famer to leave him busted open. Heyman was escorted to the back and was loaded in the back of an ambulance. Paul and Theory decided to accompany their mentor in the Maverick’s car, which had Jimmy Uso inside, who assaulted Theory based on his assumption of the Vision being responsible for the ambush of Jey Uso last Friday on SmackDown.

‘Big Jim’ had presumably attacked Logan Paul as well, which wasn’t shown on camera. After that, Uso went closer to the ambulance that Heyman was in, and it was shown that LA Knight was the driver. Uso and Knight were revealed to be in cahoots for tricking the Vision into their ploy. ‘The Megastar’ took ‘The Oracle’ for a ride to close the segment.

What else happened on this week’s Raw?

The first match of the night on Raw was Gunther taking on Dragon Lee. The latter finally got to see ‘The Ring General’ in the ring after brawling ensued over the past few weeks. Lee and Gunther put on a hard-hitting classic that resulted in the Austrian ripping Lee’s mask off while keeping him locked in a sleeper hold.

It’s looking more likely that ‘The Career Killer’ is going to end up facing the greatest luchador of all time, Rey Mysterio, at this year’s WrestleMania after Gunther desecrated the Lucha libre tradition on Raw. The brand-new women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee also cut a promo after winning her first title in WWE since 2014.

‘The Crazy Chick’ sent a warning shot to the entire women’s locker room and asked anyone that believed they were championship material to step up to her. The former Divas Champion affirmed that she’ll be defending the women’s IC title the next time she’s in that ring.

WWE has announced that Iyo Sky, Raquel Rodriguez, Lyra Valkyria, Bayley, Asuka, and Ivy Nile will duke it out in a gauntlet match on next week’s Raw to determine Lee’s first challenger.

Rusev finally got his wish of getting into a fight with Oba Femi fulfilled on Raw. ‘The Lion of Bulgaria’ called out the Nigerian wrestler, and the two of them also traded haymakers in the middle of that ring. It ended with Femi standing tall on the former United States Champion, and they’re now set to wrestle one-on-one on next week’s Raw.

Former AEW star Danhausen made his Raw debut in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce. The peculiar figure handed a soggy paper to the Raw GM that had his wishes written over it. Danhausen revealed his “Demandhausens” with him wanting a blimp, a Hall of Fame induction this year, a personal assistant, a personal camera boy, a Triple H finger-point photo, and his face being featured on WWE production trucks.

Danhausen eventually came face-to-face with The Judgment Day, and that’s where things got interesting. The newest WWE signee cursed Dominik Mysterio, who ultimately went on to lose his Intercontinental Championship to Penta.

The main event of the night was Roman Reigns and CM Punk throwing insults at each other once again. It closed with Punk vowing to bury Reigns next to his cremated father apart from inflicting the beating of a lifetime at WrestleMania.
