Raw Superstar Eva Marie returned to WWE, a couple of months ago. Her character was teased to kick – off the Eva-lution in WWE. She was expected to perform on the roster in an on-screen managerial role, but that was not the case! She returned with a tag team partner of sorts, Doudrop.

But overall, since her return, Eva Marie’s performances have been underwhelming. She had a feud with Alexa Bliss, with no real-payoff. Apart from this, she has spent her time feuding against Doudrop! But on the latest episode of Raw, we finally got to see a new opponent for Marie.

Raw Superstar Eva Marie was seen in a singles match against one-half of the former Women’s Tag Team Champions – Shayna Baszler. The match was clearly announced to push Baszler and her new brutal avatar. Baszler completely devoured Marie and even crushed her elbow against the WWE steel steps.

WWE recently provided an update on her injury mentioning that Eva Marie might have dislocated her elbow! “Eva Marie was evaluated after Raw and is being treated for a possible dislocation of her elbow following another brutal attack by Shayna Baszler,” read WWE’s statement.

Baslzer has been returning to her old brutal avatar. Last week on the Red brand, she attacked Nia Jax and even crushed her hand against the steel steps. But the only thing that confused the WWE Universe was the fact that Baszler looked conflicted while attacking Jax. There was no specific reason as to why Jax was attacked and if Baszler was conflicted then why did she go ahead with the attack?

Raw Superstar Eva Marie is yet to have a high-profile feud

Eva Marie has only feuded against Alexa Bliss and Doudrop since her return. Surprisingly, neither of these feuds had any heat and did not benefit any of the Superstars involved. But that had been the case with the Raw Women’s division.

Thankfully, if the current feuds are any indication, then the Women’s division of the Red brand has started to move in the right direction. Alexa Bliss’ terrible supernatural gimmick is finally over, and we might see her back in her old avatar. She and probably Baszler seem to be in line for challenging Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship. This suggests that we might finally see Raw Superstar Eva Marie in some real feud, after she returns from her injury.
