WWE’s 2025 year-end schedule is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory. With Crown Jewel set to go live in just a few hours from Perth, fans are in for a stacked night of action. The event will feature blockbuster bouts like Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins for the show’s namesake title and a long-awaited John Cena vs. AJ Styles showdown, billed as their final encounter ever.
However, fresh reports suggest that WWE has even more major plans lined up as the year wraps up. The next major PLE stop is Survivor Series, scheduled for November 29 in San Diego, and the annual WarGames matches are reportedly beginning to take form. According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, this year’s men’s WarGames match is mostly put together as of now.
The current plan has CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Jey Uso teaming up with a fifth mystery partner to face The Vision, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory. While the fifth member hasn’t been finalized, Meltzer notes that the spot will likely come down to either LA Knight or Jimmy Uso. He also added that plans could still change, as these were the discussions from about a week ago.

The alliance of Lesnar with Paul Heyman’s current clients shouldn’t come as a major surprise, as speculation about that partnership has been circulating since WWE booked Rhodes vs. Rollins for Crown Jewel to extend the Crown Jewel Championship storyline. Interestingly, Rhodes is not currently listed as part of the WarGames lineup.
Meanwhile, Austin Theory, who has been absent from Raw for months, could be making a huge return. If Meltzer’s report holds, Theory would find himself in one of the biggest matches of the year, a sharp contrast from his last run alongside Grayson Waller in the A-Town Down tag team before Waller revealed his injury status back in July.
On the women’s side, the WarGames lineup looks equally explosive. The current plan features AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Iyo Sky teaming up to take on Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and NXT standout Lash Legend.

This marks another major return for Lee, who hasn’t appeared on WWE television since Wrestlepalooza, where she and her husband CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag match. That bout was her first in-ring appearance since her 2015 retirement, making her inclusion in the WarGames match a huge moment for fans.
As for Legend, she remains part of the NXT roster, but has made several cameos on the main stage, including an appearance at WWE Evolution in July. Her addition gives the women’s WarGames lineup a fresh and unpredictable dynamic.
Huge plans emerge for the November 1st edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Apart from the Survivor Series PLE set for late November, WWE’s first major stop next month is also taking shape, and it’s already looking stacked. The upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1 is reportedly set to feature three major bouts, including two title matches and a No. 1 Contender’s Match, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Headlining the event will be a blockbuster World Heavyweight Championship clash as Seth Rollins defends his title against longtime rival CM Punk. The timing of this match is especially intriguing, as Rollins will first face Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in a champion vs. champion bout for the Crown Jewel Title.
Regardless of the outcome in Perth, Rollins will have his hands full just two weeks later when he steps into the ring with Punk. In the women’s division, Tiffany Stratton will once again defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill. This marks the fourth chapter in their increasingly heated rivalry.

Other matches said to be planned are:
Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill – WWE Women's Championship
Drew McIntyre… pic.twitter.com/HAe9VpODG4
Their series began at SummerSlam, where Stratton secured the win. A double count-out followed in their next encounter on SmackDown, and their most recent meeting, a triple threat match also including Nia Jax on the September 26 episode, ended in chaos.
The other marquee matchup of the night will carry huge stakes for the WWE Championship picture. Drew McIntyre is set to battle Jacob Fatu, with the winner earning a future title shot against Rhodes.
Fatu has been making waves since his shocking return to SmackDown, where he blindsided McIntyre in a brutal attack. Most recently, on the latest SmackDown episode in Perth, Fatu confronted Rhodes backstage, giving fans a glimpse of what could be a massive future title showdown between the two.
