WWE has significantly expanded the number of international shows they host each year. In addition to regular house shows, the company now stages several Premium Live Events in front of global audiences. It seems that next year’s Elimination Chamber will follow suit. The iconic 10-ton steel structure has set sail for the United Kingdom.

According to WrestleVotes, the 2025 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event (PLE) is set to take place in the United Kingdom in March. While WWE officials have not finalized the city, Manchester and Birmingham are currently the frontrunners. This marks the fourth consecutive year the event will be held outside the United States, following recent editions in Jeddah, Montreal, and Perth.

However, logistical challenges remain, particularly when it comes to transporting the massive Elimination Chamber structure. Reports indicated that shipping it from the United States to Australia earlier this year was a significant headache for the company. WWE will need to address this issue before the event heads to the UK in 2025.

Elimination Chamber will be a key stop on the road to WrestleMania 41, set to take place in Las Vegas. WWE also recently confirmed that next year’s WrestleMania journey will kick off in Indianapolis, with the Royal Rumble scheduled for February 1st.

WWE has been increasingly expanding its presence in the United Kingdom. It recently hosted major events like Clash at the Castle in Scotland and Money in the Bank in London last year. The promotion is even rumored to host WrestleMania in London in the upcoming years.

Hosting “B-shows” in front of international audiences has made these PLEs far more exciting and engaging for fans. Events like Backlash, Clash at the Castle, Bash in Berlin, and this year’s Elimination Chamber have shown just how much energy and enthusiasm international crowds bring, making these shows more appealing and fun to watch.

Elimination Chamber 2024 held in Perth, Australia shattered multiple records for WWE

The Elimination Chamber PLE held earlier this year in Perth, Australia was a milestone event for WWE. This was the first time that the PLE was hosted as a stadium show. Furthermore, it was the first-ever Australian PLE. The last time the promotion had visited the land down under was in 2018 for a Super-Show event.

Over 52,000 people attended the event, including more than 16,000 out-of-state visitors. The crowd was extremely excited to witness their hometown girl, Rhea Ripley, defend her Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax in the show’s main event.

The event reportedly injected more than $35 million into the Western Australian economy. Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall claimed the event attracted the biggest audience ever. He estimated that one billion people tuned in to watch it through streaming services and TV broadcasting. Doubts remain about this number, as no other source has confirmed it.
