Ridge Holland’s real name is Luke Menzies. Holland has been a professional rugby player for various clubs in the RFL Championship. The rugby player started exploring professional wrestling as a career in 2016. He was signed by WWE for NXT in May 2018 after working his way through several English promotions.

Ridge Holland was his ring name when he made his NXT UK debut on November 21, 2019. After that, his career went through a lot of ups and downs due to poor booking as well as injuries.

In the 2021 draft, WWE eventually promoted Holland to the main roster. They drafted him to the SmackDown brand, and on the November 5 episode of the show, Holland referred to Sheamus as his idol.
