“Past. Present. Future. GREATEST Champion of all time”: Roman Reigns predicted his Wrestlemania win hours before the match

Reigns with Heyman

Roman Reigns walked into the Wrestlemania main event for a record sixth time in his WWE career. While others have been memorable encounters, the most recent one stands out considering it was touted as the Greatest Wrestlemania match of all time. The stakes couldn’t have been more higher for this battle between the Tribal Chief and the Beast Incarnate.

Reigns walked in with the Universal Championship and Lesnar came in with his WWE Championship. This was the Champion vs Champion Title Unification match. Unfortunately, the match failed to live up to the hype. There were several high moments in the match but it was the anti-climatic end that brought down the quality of the entire event.

For a major part of the match, both, Roman Reigns as well as Brock Lesnar delivered their signature Spears and Suplexes, earning a near fall every single time. But in the end a simple Spear was just enough for the Tribal Chief to get a pinfall over the Beast Incarnate – making him the Unified Universal Heavyweight Champion.

With the win, the dominance of Roman Reigns continues on the roster. There were speculations that The Rock might return in the final moments of the show to kick off a feud, but that wasn’t the case either. Things now get really interesting, considering the Tribal Chief is now once again on the lookout for a challenger. Interestingly, hours before his match, Reigns had predicted his win at Mania!

“Tonight will be my 6th #WrestleMania main event…A historic 580 day @WWE Universal Championship reign…And the definitive point where I solidify my role…Past. Present. Future. As the GREATEST champion of all time” – tweeted the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Roman Reigns will now look for a new Challenger

After taking down Brock Lesnar at The Grandest Stage of Them All, Roman Reigns has gone through practically everyone on the roster. At least the Smackdown roster has no Superstar left, barring Drew McIntyre, who could step to the Tribal Chief.

But considering the fact that Reigns is now the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, he might be regularly showing up on RAW as well. Throughout his current reign, Reigns has been on the Blue brand. He has numerous challengers ready on the Red brand like Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton among others.
