“You stole the show,” Ronda Rousey’s heartfelt message for Tag Team partner

Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest professional wrestlers in the industry today. She made a surprise return to WWE at Ronda Rousey. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” was the 28th entrant in the Woman’s Royal Rumble match. She sent four participants over the top rope to win the match and earn the right to main event Wrestlemania 38.

But before she heads to Showcase of Immortals, Rousey had another challenge cut out for her at Elimination Chamber. She teamed up with former Smackdown Women’s Champion Naomi  to take on Sonya Deville and the current Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. The odds were in favor of Flair and Deville.

Sonya Deville added a stipulation to the Tag Team match, according to which Ronda Rousey had to tie one of her hands behind her back. This was initially done to even the odds as Deville’s arm was injured. But it was later revealed that Deville was just acting and her arm had healed.

Since her return, this was the first time Ronda Rousey had teamed up with another Superstar and battled in a Tag Team match. After the match, which she and Naomi ended up winning, Rousey had nothing but praise for her partner. She took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post for Naomi.

“[Naomi] really stole the show tonight, and I got the best seat in the house to watch her work – thank you for having my back out there
Gotta admit it felt good putting my old @mizunousa competition judo gi back on – and I totally felt like @realroyce striking in a gi
Thank you for having us Jeddah, it was an honor to perform for you all”
– shared Naomi.

Ronda Rousey eliminated the Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Initially it was being speculated that she would be going after the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania, but that isn’t the case.

On an episode of the Blue brand she announced that she will be coming after Charlotte Flair at the Showcase of Immortals. The two Superstars had previously collided in the main event of Wrestlemania 35 – where neither of them managed to pick up the win.
