“Not feeling great”: Ronda Rousey feels sick ahead of Wrestlemania 38

"The Baddest Woman on the Planet"
Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair are gearing up for what could be one of the best matches of Wrestlemania 38. The feud kicked off at the 2022 Royal Rumble. The Baddest Woman on the Planet made her return to the company as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She eliminated the Smackdown Women’s Champion to win the match for the first time in her career.
The WWE Universe had expected Rousey to go after the Raw Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania. But she took a complete swerve and chose to challenge Charlotte Flair over Becky Lynch. The two Superstars are scheduled to collide for the Smackdown Women’s title on Wrestlemania Saturday.
The buildup to this feud has been really hot and led to a couple of brawls too. A couple of weeks ago, Flair had attacked Rousey in the parking lot and applied a submission hold on the hood of a car! Last week too, she sent Ronda Rousey crashing through the announcer’s table and stood tall over her as the show ended!
But a recent update, provided by Ronda Rousey herself, might be discouraging. During a recent Facebook gaming live stream, “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” revealed that she isn’t 100% fit. She had sustained an injury during her last brawl and was feeling sick too!
“I’m totally fantastic, fine. I tore my labial frenulum apparently, which is that little piece of skin that connects your lip to your jaw or whatever, my top jaw. I’m like so sick and not feeling good right now. Sorry guys if I sound like c**p,” mentioned Rousey.
Ronda Rousey might not main event Wrestlemania Saturday

The initial plans for WWE, was to have Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar collide in the main event of Wrestlemania Sunday. Whereas, Smackdown Women’s Championship match involving Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey would’ve collided in the main event of Wrestlemania Saturday.
But the plans have now changed. While the Sunday night main event still remains in place, Flair vs Rousey might be moved down the card. The company is planning to close the show on Saturday with Kevin Owens and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. This necessarily means that the Smackdown Women’s Championship match could be the co-main event.
