“Back to the golden days”: Ronda Rousey wears a special outfit at Elimination Chamber

Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominant forces in WWE. She made her surprise return to WWE at Royal Rumble 2022. Rousey was the 28th entrant in the match and went the whole way – winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Just days later, she announced that she will be challenging Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania.

But before she heads to the Showcase of Immortals, Rousey is currently battling Charlotte Flair in a Tag team match. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” has teamed up with Naomi to take on the Smackdown Women’s Champion and Sonya Deville. They were seen in action at Elimination Chamber.

Fans were intrigued to see Ronda Rousey’s outfit as she walked out for her Tag team match. Many might not be aware that Rousey is a former judoka, who was also the first American female to earn an Olympic medal in judo. She had won the bronze medal at 2008 Summer Olympics. Interestingly, she wore the exact same outfit at Elimination Chamber that she had worn when she won the bronze medal.

For the Tag team match, Ronda Rousey was required to tie one of her hands, behind her back. This was earlier explained as a way to be fair to Sonya Deville – who had one of her hand injured. But as soon as the bell rang for the match, Deville revealed that her arm has already recovered!

Ronda Rousey’s focus now shifts to Wrestlemania

At Elimination Chamber, Ronda Rousey and Naomi emerged victorious against Sonya Deville and Naomi. Rousey once again locked in Deville’s arm and the WWE authority had no other option than to tap out – handing Rousey and Naomi the win. With this Rousey’s focus now shifts to Wrestlemania.

Rousey, after winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match, challenged Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Flair has now been in the ring with Rousey and has closely followed Rousey’s moves. She knowns that it wont be easy to take down Rousey and we might be in for a brutal bout at Mania.
