Sasha Banks was involved in a much-awaited feud against the former Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Their rivalry reached its peak at Wrestlemania 37, where the two Superstars collided during the main event of Night One. The EST of WWE was able to dethrone The Boss at the Showcase of Immortals, post which Banks went a break from WWE.

Months later Banks returned to the company, to once again feud against Belair. The two Superstars were supposed to have their rematch at WWE Summerslam 2021. But for some reasons unknown, it was announced during the “Biggest Party of the Summer” that Sasha Banks wasn’t medically cleared to compete! In fact, Banks had been missing from WWE TV since mid-August.

But the fans of The Boss might be happy to learn that Banks might be back on WWE TV soon. In fact, she was even spotted outside the Madison Square Garden, hours before WWE’s Super Smackdown. Initially, this had led to the speculation that she might show up during the episode, but that wasn’t the case.

The reason fir not using Sasha Banks on WWE TV could be that there is already a feud going on between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Lynch was the one who replaced Banks at Summerslam – and even defeated Belair for the title in record 26 seconds!

The Smackdown Women’s Championship will be on the line at Extreme Rules. Becky Lynch will be defending her title against Bianca Belair. Both the Superstars are top stars on the roster and it is quite unlikely that WWE will keep either of them away from the main event scene.

One of the possibilities could be that Sasha Banks returns during the Lynch – Belair match at Extreme Rules and kick off a triple-threat feud. But one issue that would remain with this feud could be that there will be just one babyface (Belair) and two Heels (Lynch and Sasha Banks). But Banks being backstage for the shows is a positive sign and could mean that we might see her back in action in the coming weeks.
