“That main event was super-historic”; Seth Rollins feels Becky Lynch winning at WrestleMania 35 didn’t get the amount of electricity it should’ve got
Seth Rollins
Becky Lynch had all her dreams come true back in 2019 when the Man not only won the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble match but was also the first women to feature and win a women’s main event at the Grandest Stage of them All, WrestleMania. The Man defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match to become both the Raw and the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
But the Visionary, her husband, Seth Rollins feels that Lynch’s main event at WrestleMania 35 didn’t get the amount of reactions it should’ve got with the build up to their incredible triple threat match. Rollins was recently interviewed on Sports Illustrated where he revealed:
“Well, the longer it got, the worse it was. And the one in question is the New York WrestleMania which literally, from the pre-show to the finale was like seven straight hours and that is obnoxious, that is way too much wrestling. And mind you, my wife won the main event that night. They didn’t go to the ring until after midnight. And that main event which was awesome and super historic suffered from just the crowd being drained. They wanted to be there for everything but you only have so much energy.” – Sportskeeda
Becky Lynch had one of the best matches of the year at WrestleMania 38
Becky Lynch battled the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair in a Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 38. Though Big Time Becks couldn’t retain her title at the Grandest Stage of them All, the WWE Universe loved their match all thanks to the chemistry and athleticism they possessed.
Becky Lynch could be continuing her rivalry with the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair after the Man lost her title for the first time in almost 600 days. The former Raw Women’s Champion has had a brilliant feud with Bianca Belair for the past few months and WWE could be using the fact as an advantage to continue their stupendous rivalry for a month or two.
