The Visionary Seth Rollins will challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble 2022 pay-per-view. The former Universal Champion will now get what he wanted for months and could be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Seth Rollins will dethrone Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion. Rollins will then face the winner of the 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble match and Reigns will move on to Brock Lesnar and will challenge him at WrestleMania. It was also noted that both the championships will possibly switch brands following Royal Rumble 2022. Here’s what he said:

“I was kind of told it’s gonna end up where it’s supposed to be. So I wonder if that means they’re gonna switch belts, like the Universal belt with Seth goes on RAW and the WWE belt that Roman would end up most likely, I’m gonna guess but Brock would have, would be on SmackDown”

The new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar came face to face with the Universal Champion Roman Reigns on the recent episode of Friday Night Smackdown on Fox. The Beast Incarnate and the Tribal Chief exchanged a lot of heat with each other during the segment and Paul Heyman also had a great role in it.

The segment started with Lesnar asking Reigns to give the WWE Universe what they wanted. He eventually challenged Reigns for a champion vs champion match which the Tribal Chief neither accepted, nor rejected. Things took a wild turn when Paul Heyman said he used to love Reigns which Lesnar reacted to aggressively. Reigns then defended Heyman which went forward with Heyman defending Reigns as well. This distracted Lesnar allowing Reigns deliver a superman punch to him.
