The Usos def the Mysterios to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championships at Summerslam

WWE Summerslam 2021 saw the Usos defend their Smackdown Tag Team Championships against the Mysterios. The champions successfully defended the titles even after the high profile match was action-packed. The Mysterios were not that perfect which costed them the match at Summerslam

The match started with Jimmy running into a hurricanrana from Rey followed by a basement dropkick when Dominik came in. Dominik then delivered the vertical suplexes paying tribute to Eddie. Jey then took Dominik down and drove him into the ring post.

The Usos then assaulted Dominik but he somehow tagged Rey and the latter took both the Usos down. He delivered a tornado DDT to Jimmy when the latter delivered a super kick for two counts. Jey then came in delivered another super kick followed by the Uso splash but Mysterio kicked out. In the end, the Usos delivered a double superkick to retain the titles.

Now, the Usos could be getting new challengers in the form of Street profits, Alpha academy and more. The Mysterios could now be going out of the Tag tea picture for sometime.
