WWE Superstar John Cena is one of the biggest Superstars ever to step inside the squared ring. He has been one of the biggest faces of the company for well over a decade and knows the business inside out. The fact that Cena recently endorsed UFC star Conor McGregor certainly speaks volumes about Cena’s belief in McGregor’s abilities to excel in WWE.
The 16-time WWE World Champion recently appeared on That Scene with Dan Patrick, where he mentioned that Conor McGregor could excel in WWE. Interestingly, the UFC star has been quite vocal about his hatred towards the industry. McGregor has often criticized the scripted nature of the fights in WWE.
“He would be fantastic. He is what we do. What he does is a little less predictable. Our surprises are getting people to show up at random and trying to weave the choose-your-own-adventure to a different alley. His surprises are getting a few teeth knocked out or getting an operation. Not to say that doesn’t happen with us, mistakes happen with us. But in his profession, it’s not a mistake. It’s a certainty,” mentioned WWE Superstar John Cena.
Cena even went on to mention that he is a fan of McGregor and wishes to see him perform in a WWE ring soon. “At my core, I’m a fan, and he’s interesting. He has a gravity about him. I want to see him perform,” continued the Leader of Cenation. There is already some heat between McGregor and the WWE Superstars which could set up a great storyline, if and when the UFC star agrees to join the company.

WWE Superstar John Cena has gone on to focus on his Hollywood career, but continued to makes special appearances for WWE. But this year, he got a month off from his Hollywood commitments and he decided to return at WWE Money in the Bank.
Cena returned to challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After feuding for nearly a month, two of the biggest Superstars of WWE finally collided at “The Biggest Party of the Summer”. Cena eventually ended up on the losing side. But he is scheduled to appear at the WWE Super Smackdown at Madison Square Garden this week.
