WWE Money in the Bank 2021 is here. The first event in nearly 16 months to have full capacity live audience in attendance. The event will be featuring 2 Ladder matches and 4 Championships will be on the line. Additionally, the Smackdown Tag Team Championships will be on the line, in the kick-off show.
A video package hypes up the show with some iconic cash-in moments and a run through of the entire card. We go live into the Texas Arena.

WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Live Results: Roman Reigns def. Edge to retain Universal Championship
The biggest match of the night – where Edge finally earns his singles match for the Universal Championship. A video package highlights the rivalry between Edge and Roman Reigns.
The Rated R Superstar makes his way to the ring with a loud reception from the crowd. A huge pyro display for his entrance. Edge waits in the ring for the Universal Champion, and crowd is evidently against the Tribal Chief.
The Tribal Chief walks out with his Special Counsel, Paul Heyman. The crowd is completely against Reigns, as they boo him loudly and welcome him with thumbs down!
A technical issue cuts the live stream of the event. We return to see Edge outside the ring to recover. He goes back in to lock in with Reigns. A couple of head-butts by Reigns takes Edge down. Reigns has forced Edge to stay in the corner.
Edge fights back with an attack to the arm. He sends Reigns into the ringpost, shoulder first. Reigns walks out of the ring, as Heyman discusses something with him.
Reigns comes back in, but is thrown out of the ring by Reigns. Edge goes out and is slammed by Reigns to the floor. Both men lie outside the ring. Reigns back in the ring and goes outside again to slam Edge into the ring post.
Edge barely makes it back into the ring to beat the count-out. Reigns welcomes him with a series of kicks. Reigns throws Edge outside the ring again. He picks Edge and slams him into the steel steps a couple of times. Back in the ring Reigns goes for the cover but Edge kicks out. A series of punches follow.
Reigns sends Edge into the ringpost, shoulder-post. A suplex by Reigns, followed by the cover, but Edge kicks out. A sleeper hold is applied and Edge’s face turns completely red. He fights back but another neck hold is applied. Reigns is taunting Edge, while the hold is still applied.
Edge is tired, he is barely moving. . They finally get up, but Reigns takes him down with a punch. A massive kick to the face by the Universal Champion, but Edge manages to kick out again. Reigns is charged up and ready for a Superman Punch, but Edge counters it into a pinfall attempt.
Both men are down. They trade punches and Edge goes for another pinfall attempt, but Reigns kicks out. Edge clotheslines Reigns followed by a DDT. Edge gets Reigns on the top rope, but Edge himself falls in the top rope. He smashes Reigns’ head on the ringpost.
Reigns lied on the ropes upside down. Edge applied his submission lock and it looks like Roman will be losing his title. He tries but is not able to get out of it. He crawls to get a ropebreak and is saved.
Edge looks all set for a Spear. Reigns gets up. Edge goes for a Spear but is countered into a guillotine choke. Edge is fading but he takes Reigns outside the ring with himself. Both men outside the ring.
Reigns gets to his feet and charges for a Spear, but Edge sidesteps him. Reigns explodes through the barricade. Edge goes around the ring and delivers a Spear on Reigns through the remaining barricade.
Edge lifts Reigns up and puts him in the ring. Reigns shoves Edge off and hits him with a Superman Punch. As Edge goes down, he takes referee down with him. Reigns goes outside and rips one of the steel tubes off a chair. Reigns goes to dig the pipe into Edge’s face, but Edge fights out.
Edge then applies a crossface using the steel pipe on Reigns’ mouth! The Usos make their way to the ring to help their cousin, but the Mysterios take them out. Seth Rollins then runs in and kicks Edge in the head.
Reigns takes a moment to recover and gets fired up. Reigns charges for a Spear, but Edge counters with a Spear of his own. Edge covers, but there’s somehow no referee. A referee runs down and counts, but Reigns kicks out. Edge cannot believe it. Edge sizes Reigns up, but runs over to knock Seth Rollins off the apron. Reigns then delivers a Spear to Edge for the win.
After the match, Seth Rollins runs into the ring and viciously attacks Edge. Rollins punches and kicks away at him. Rollins goes face-to-face with Reigns. Edge attacks Rollins. They brawl into the crowd. Reigns stands tall in the ring. Paul Heyman hands him a microphone. Reigns says the whole world can acknowledge him.
JOHN CENA’S MUSIC HITS! The crowd goes absolutely crazy! Cena gets in the ring and hits the ropes back and forth. Reigns looks disgusted. Cena looks at Reigns and does the “You can’t see me” taunt. Cena poses for the adoring crowd as the show comes to an end.
WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Live Results: Big E wins Men’s ladder match
Participants: Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Riddle, Ricochet, Big E and John Morrison.
Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring, as Riddle, Rick Boogs and Nakamura talk backstage. Riddle, Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet are in next. John Morrison comes in with The Miz, who is on a wheelchair. Big E comes in. Seth Rollins comes out to his old theme music. Final participant Drew McIntyre comes in too.
A brawl breaks out, as everyone is fighting. Rollins and Morrison argue who has the better drip, they are attacked by Riddle, followed by Riddle. McIntyre and Big E circle inside the ring. Riddle runs in to attack Big E and Ricochet attacks McIntyre.
McIntyre and Big E circle the ring and finally lock each other. No one gets a clear upperhand until, Big E spears McIntyre outside the ring. Owens walks in with the ladder, but is attacked by Nakamura. Morrison stops Nakamura, and starts climbing, but he is pushed off.
A sideways corkscrew splash by Morrison onto Nakamura. Rollins comes in and teams up with Morrison to attack Nakamura, Big E, Riddle and McIntyre. Ricochet comes in and attacks both of them, but he is crashed onto a ladder by the Drip Duo.
Owens pulls Rollins out of the ring. Morrison comes out to help. They grab a ladder and set it between the ring and announcers table. Owens fights both of them off and walks into the ring. Morrison and Rollins come in to attack him.
They fight off Owens, by dropping him onto the ladder. McIntyre comes in and attacks the duo. But surprisingly, Rollins and Morrison took him down too. They laid him on a ladder and Morrison climbed the top rope to hit a Starship pain. Rollins grabs a ladder and hits Morrison.
Rollins climbs the ladder and is taken down by Riddle with an R-K-Bro. Riddle Ricochet, Big E and Nakamura stand in the ring. McIntyre comes in and clears the ring. He stands tall alone in the ring, after smashing Ricochet onto the ladder. He flies out of the ring, to take out everyone.
Back in the ring with McIntyre and Rollins, who is hit with a Claymore. McIntyre sets a ladder in the ring. He climbs, but is taken down by Veer and Shanky. Jinder Mahal attacks McIntyre with a steel chair.
They take away McIntyre. Riddle climbs the stairs, but is pushed away by Ricochet, who is taken down by Riddle. Ricochet goes flying onto everyone outside the ring. Riddle climbs again and battles with Ricochet on top of the ladder. Rollins is setting up another ladder.
Big E takes down Rollins and tries to go after Riddle but is hit with the RKO, same for Ricochet. Rollins is back and is hit with Nakamura with a knee to the face. Nakamura climbs as Morrison sprays the drip on his face. Morrison is hit with a Stunner from Owens.
Owens hits another Stunner onto Nakamura and a powerbomb for Ricochet. Owens climbs again, but Rollins is stopping. Rollins powerbombs Owens through the ladder. Rollins alone in the ring.
Seth Rollins sets up the ladder, he climbs as Big E stops him. Big E climbs and falls down in the ring with Rollins. Big E climbs the ladder and grabs the briefcase.
Big E has won the Money in the Bank Men’s ladder match.
WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Live Results: Charlotte Flair def. Rhea Ripley for Raw Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair is contesting to win her 13th World title. A video package hypes up the rivalry between Flair and Ripley, which is based on the theme – “Whatever you do, I can do better.” Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring, so does “The Queen” Charlotte Flair.
The match begins with a staredown. The two wrestlers roam around the ring and finally lock in. Flair flips the bird, to the entire crowd. Flair slaps Ripley, as she slaps back. A dropkick by Ripley, but Flair is back on her feet.
The action continues to the ring apron. A baseball slide by Ripley, throws Flair to the outside. But Flair pulls Ripley to the outside.
Back in the ring, Flair takes Ripley down with a Suplex and locks in a sleeper hold. She backflips and kicks Ripley’s face. The current Champion finds it hard to get some offense into the match. She finally gets a waist lock on Flair, but is elbowed in the face. Flair is launched over the top rope, as action goes outside the ring again.
Ripley goes for the cover, but Flair kicks out. Flair goes for the Suplex, but Ripley counters and hits a Suplex of her own. She climbs the top rope, but Flair locks in the Figure of Eight. She somehow fights out and gets a pinfall attempt. A series of pinfall attempt follows.
Ripley chops away at Flair’s chest, but Flair just absorbs them. Ripley applies a Prism Trap, but Flair gets out. Flair fights out of a Riptide and DDTs her down for a near fall. Flair is in shock. Flair punches away at Ripley, but Ripley responds with some punches of her own. Flair chops the chest, so Ripley elbows her.
Ripley blocks a big boot, but Flair hits a back elbow and covers with her feet on the ropes. The referee catches Flair. Flair dives off the top rope with Natural Selection.
Flair goes for a Figure Four, but Ripley pulls her back. Flair rolls out of the ring. Ripley grabs her, but Flair drives her head into the ring post. Flair then puts Ripley’s left ankle into the ring steps and kicks it a few times. Flair gets her in the center of the ring and applies a Figure Eight for the submission win.
WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Live Results: Bobby Lashley def. Kofi Kingston to retain WWE Championship
Lashley is hoping to rekindle the fire of his dominance, as Kingston aims for his second reign as the WWE Champion. A video hypes up the rivalry. A video hypes up the rivalry. Kofi Kingston makes his way to ring, as we see his 2019 Wrestlemania moment. The crowd is chanting “New Day Rocks”, as WWE Champion Bobby Lashley makes his entrance.
Lashley poses in the ring with his title, as the ring announcer announces the match. Kingston immediately goes for the pinfall attempt, but Lashley kicks out. The WWE Champion launches Kingston up in the air, and follows with a series of punches.
Kingston is down. Lashley continues to assault him in the corner of the ring. Kingston side steps and counters with a kick to the head. But Lashley comes back as he picks up and slams Kingston to the ring. He picks up Kingston and throws him outside the ring.
Lashley slams Kingston’s midsection into the ringpost a couple of times. Back in the ring, Lashley elbows Kingston. Back in the ring, Lashley elbows Kingston. Lashley hits a big flatliner and fires himself up with MVP. Lashley taunts the crowd before applying the Hurt Lock to Kingston.
Kingston fights it, but Lashley hits him with a wild suplex toss. Lashley furiously grabs Kingston and hits a scary flatliner before punching away at him. Lashley hits him with a Dominator and gets fired up. Lashley hits another Dominator and then picks Kingston up for a third Dominator.
Lashley applies the Hurt Lock for the dominating win via submission.
WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Live Results: AJ Styles and Omos def. The Viking Raiders to retain Raw Tag Team Championship
The Viking Raiders earned a shot at the titles after a Tag Team Battle Royal win. The Raiders make their way to the ring, as Byron Saxton joins Michael Cole and Pat McAfee for commentary. We get a replay of the Raiders’ multi-challenge battle against The Street Profits, last year.
Styles and Omos walk in too as we are ready for the second Tag Team Championship of the night. Styles and Omos walk in too as we are ready for the second Tag Team Championship of the night. Styles was in the ring, but before the match began, he bought in Omos. Erik and Ivar try to double team on Omos, but predictably, boh of them are taken down.
Styles tags in. He completely loses the momentum built by Omos, as Erik and Ivar both take Styles down, turn by turn. They go for a pinfall attempt, but Styles manages to kick out. Styles finally comes back with a dropkick and sends his opponents outside the ring, as Omos tags in again.
Omos picks up Styles and throws him onto Ivar outside the ring. Styles delivers a wonderful hurricanrana mid-air. Back in the ring, Styles looks to be in control of the match. Styles gets Erik in the ring and applies a chin lock. Erik fights up and hits a back body drop. Ivar tags in and shoulder blocks Styles down before hitting a side slam and a low cross-body block.
Omos picks up Styles and throws him onto Ivar outside the ring. Styles delivers a wonderful hurricanrana mid-air. Back in the ring, Styles looks to be in control of the match. Styles gets Erik in the ring and applies a chin lock. Erik fights up and hits a back body drop. Ivar tags in and shoulder blocks Styles down before hitting a side slam and a low cross-body block.
Ivar lifts Styles, but Styles slides off. Ivar cartwheels around a strike and takes Styles down with a big clothesline for a near fall. Styles hits a jawbreaker and tags Omos in. Ivar cartwheels around Omos and hits a clothesline, but Omos doesn’t leave hits feet. Ivar comes off the second rope, but Omos catches him by the throat. Omos lifts Ivar up and hits a scoop slam.
Erik hits Omos with a suicide dive. In the ring, Styles rolls Ivar up with a handful of tights, but Ivar kicks out. The Viking Raiders hit the Viking Experience, but Omos gets on the apron and pushes Erik into Ivar to break it up. Omos tags back in and hits a weak kick on Ivar. Omos and Erik hit a choke bomb for the finish.
WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Live Results: Nikki A.S.H wins the Women’s ladder match
Participants: Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Nikki Cross, Natalya, Tamina, Liv Morgan, Naomi and Zelina Vega.
Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring, with a new ring gear. A vide package highlights her last MITB win and successful cash-in on the same night. Liv Morgan and Nikki A.S.H. are in next – appearing in their first MITB ladder match.
Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina make their way to the ring, so does Zelina Vega. Naomi and Asuka, 2020 MITB winner, are in and we are ready for kick-off. Natalya and Zelina Vega are battling. Everyone is outside the ring, as Bliss just calmly stands in the corner and joyfully walks around the ring.
It looks like Bliss is trying to use her powers to get the briefcase, but Asuka takes her down with a suplex. Bliss gets a sleeper hold in, but Tamina shrugs her off with a ladder to the face.
Tamina sets up the ladder in the ring, but Liv Morgan begins to climb. She is taken down by Vega. Asuka comes in and takes Tamina down with jump off the top rope. Asuka sets the ladder in the ring, but uses it to attack Tamina’s neck.
Liv Morgan comes in to attack Asuka. Natalya, Morgan, Vega, Tamina and Nikki A.S.H are battling inside the ring, as the rest fight it out at the ringside. Alexa Bliss fights everyone off. She sets up the ladder in the ring. As she is climbing, Vega climbs from the other side.
But Bliss got Vega in her control, and they both climbed down. Bliss ran up the ladder once again, but Natalya ran in to attack Bliss. Natalya pulls Bliss off and powerbombs her into the ladder. Vega tries to give Morgan a superplex, but she’s knocked onto a ladder bridge.
Naomi runs in and pulls Morgan down and powerbombs her onto Vega on the ladder bridge. Naomi hits the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with a double kick and a springboard stunner. Nikki runs in and attacks Naomi.
Naomi slams Nikki down on a ladder in the ring before hitting a split leg drop. Naomi climbs the ladder, and the crowd roars in approval. Natalya pulls Naomi down and gets her out of the ring. Vega jumps on Natalya’s back as she climbs the ladder. Natalya continues to climb and puts a hand on the briefcase. Natalya starts to fade, so Vega reaches for the briefcase. Morgan runs up and tries for something, but they all crash and burn.
Three ladders have been set up inside the ring. Morgan takes Asuka down and climbs the ladder, Naomi clibs from the other side. Tamina and Vega climb the other ladder. Natalya and Asuka join in. Everyone is trying to grab the swaying briefcase, as Nikki A.S.H quietly comes in to grab the briefcase.
Nikki A.S.H has won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
