Winning an ESPY Award is considered one of the most prestigious achievements in any sport. The event is hosted by ESPN, which honors sports achievements from yesteryear. Athletes from various disciplines win every year and make headlines. WWE Superstars are no exception to this.

Since 2019, multiple top stars from the company, like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and many others, have appeared at the ESPYS. The 2023 edition of the event was hosted by former color commentator Pat McAfee, and he was joined by Rollins and Lynch for the award-giving.

In 2020, the ESPY was not given to any superstar as the pandemic forced ESPN to not host an event. However, WWE Veteran Titus O’Neil was nominated for the Muhammed Ali Humanitarian Award for his work in the community.
