WWE Survivor Series 2021 is just a couple of sleeps away. While it is often considered to be one of the biggest WWE events of the year, the complete lack of build up has made it just a another regular WWE event. Another issue is that WWE managed to deliver several solid PPVs this year, hence fans had some high expectations from this event.

 WWE Survivor Series is often considered to be the one night where the main roster brands of the company collide against one another for brand supremacy. The event is highlighted by the two 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Team matches – one each for the men and women. Previously, WWE used to feature several qualifying matches to determine the teams for these matches.

But this year the teams for WWE Survivor Series 2021 were directly announced. Initially, Men’s Team Raw featured – Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Rey and Dominik Mysterio. But after a disqualification match Dominik was replaced by Bobby Lashley. With the addition of Lashley, the Red team featured all former World Champions, almost guaranteeing a win for Team Raw.

But on the latest episode of WWE Raw, the Master of 619, Rey Mysterio was also taken off the team and he was replaced by Austin Theory. While his additions makes the team less formidable and differences have already started cropping up between him and Kevin Owens. The duo appeared on the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump.

Owens lashed out at Austin Theory, when Theory continued to play with Owens’ action figure. The Prizefighter even blamed him for Rey Mysterio’s removal from the team. “You’re this cool young superstar like ‘I’m handsome, I’m cool,’ but you know, you walk around the locker room begging for my acceptance every week… Just a word of advice, if you try to take a selfie on Sunday instead of focusing on what you should be focusing on, I will shove that phone so far up your a**, you’ll be able to post an Instagram selfie of your vocal cords. Are we clear, Austin Theory?” mentioned Owens.

New Men’s Teams

A couple of weeks prior to the event, all the members of Team Raw and Team Smackdown were announced. But over the weeks, several Superstars like The Mysterios and Sami Zayn. While Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory replaced the Mysterio duo, a replacement for Sami Zayn is yet to be announced.

The Men’s teams for WWE Survivor Series 2021 currently includes:
