Aliyah stunned the WWE Universe on WWE SmackDown when she defeated Natalya in 3.17 seconds, creating a new record for the fastest-ever victory in WWE history.

But, before Aliyah could do this, who held the record for the fastest win in WWE history? Let’s find out:

This record was previously held by The Rock. At the 1998 Survivor Series, the latter’s four-second victory versus Big Boss Man was the company’s fastest victory in over two decades.

The Rock has several records to his name, one also being the fastest victory at Wrestlemania which happened to be at Wrestlemania 32 in an impromptu match against Eric Rowan. He beat Eric in an impressive number of 6 seconds.

Aliyah Beats The Rock’s Record

Aliyah made her SmackDown singles debut against Natalya on the January 14 episode of SmackDown. She was questioned backstage and expressed her nervousness, stating that all she wanted to do was put on a nice display. Natalya then appeared with her Guinness Book of World Records, boasting that she had three of her own. She went on to say that she’d set the fourth record tonight by pinning Aliyah in just 3.8 seconds, the fastest victory in WWE history.

Natalya assaulted Aliyah before the bell could ring, softening her up for what she anticipated would be a record-breaking victory. The bell rung after the referee certified Aliyah’s ability to compete, and she immediately rolled up Natalya for the victory.

The ring announcer then informed the audience that she had just established the milestone for the fastest victory in WWE history, which was later revealed to be 3.17 seconds.

However, it should be mentioned that Chris Jericho and Jerry Lawler hold the record for the fastest victory at a time of three seconds. However, because it was a tag team bout, Aliyah’s recent honour remains intact.
