Roman Reigns vs The Rock is a match that has been in talks for a long long time and the possibility of it happening cannot be ruled out anytime soon whatsoever. Owing to the Rock’s tight schedule, the chances do vary, but the chances of that happening exist too. If reports are to be believed, the People’s Champion himself is interested in doing this match and the match was teased at the show ‘Young Rock’.

‘Young Rock’ features the earlier days of the Rock

Young Rock, the sitcom centred on The Rock’s life, allegedly teased a match at WWE’s WrestleMania event between The People’s Champion and The Tribal Chief. A young Roman Reigns invites The Rock to fight him in the episode. The latter, on the other hand, declines, telling Reigns that the match can only take place at WrestleMania. There has been a lot of talk about a prospective WrestleMania showdown between Reigns and The Brahma Bull in recent years. In a WWE ring, the two megastars have never faced each other. However, these are just speculations and nothing has been confirmed. Adding to this, it is also being speculated that this highly anticipated match can take place as early as Wrestlemania Hollywood next year.

Roman Reigns has already made a record of main eventing 6 Wrestlemanias. As far as this run of the Tribal Chief looks, it is unlikely that he will drop his titles anytime soon and might be the champion heading on to Wrestlemania next year. If that happens, the Tribal Chief facing the People’s Champion for the Unified WWE Universal Championship will break on the internet for sure. Wrestlemania 39 is also going to be a two-night affair and as far as WWE is concerned, never say never.
