XSet wins PMPL North America Season 2
The second season PUBG Mobile Pro League North America finally came to an end yesterday and we got the champions of the month-long tournament. Prominent American team XSet were declared as the winners whereas Ghost Gaming, another renowned team qualified for PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021.
PUBG Mobile Esports is going on with all full vigour as major tournaments are being conducted back to back. Before the commencement of the most prestigious series PMGC 2021, all regions are wrapping up their tournament to name the regional champions, teams are also getting directly qualified from these tournaments due to the PMGC point system. PMPL North America Season 2 Finals featured 16 professional teams battling for the prize pool of 150K USD. Here are the overall standings after the tournament conclusion.
PUBG Mobile Pro League North America Season 2: Overall standings
Sixteen teams had qualified for the finals of PUBG Mobile Pro League North America Season 2. The finals took place for a period of three days. Teams fought a nerve-wrecking battle to keep their hopes alive for the Americas Championship which is all set to begin from November 11th,2021. Team XSet grabbed 3 wins out of 18 matches and scored a massive 218 points to stay at the top of the leader board.

Knights took the highest number of chicken dinners among all the teams but failed to claim the top position due to a difference of six points. Players as well as were disappointed, however, they were confident to come back in a stronger way at the Americas Championship.
American PUBG Mobile powerhouse Nova Esports had an ordinary tournament as fans expected much better from the team. Nevertheless, they were placed at the third position as the team took 85 elimination points which added to total 186 points. Team Syndicate won the first match of the final day and grabbed the fourth position with 175 points.

Ghost Gaming didn’t have much luck in the tournament, however, they managed to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 scheduled to begin at November 30th. All eyes are now set on Americas Championship Season 2 where the top 7 teams will qualify for PMGC 2021.
