WWE Superstar Zelina Vega has found herself in a little bit of trouble recently. A prop designer named Sangrebomb accused her of not fully paying for her work on social media. As a result, the 33-year-old gave a befitting reply, clearing up all the fuss surrounding the controversy.
Zelina Vega took to X and clarified that in her conversation with Sangre, which was saved, she insisted on the payment. However, Sangre refused taking it, stating that they were happy to just be associated with her. The former Queen of the Ring winner also bought tickets and invited them backstage to personally express her gratitude for their work.
She stated that things started to change when Sangre asked for compensation, or at least credit for their hard work. Vega said that she thought she had completed her part by inviting him to the show and personally thanking them. However, after the conversation, things fell apart, and the 33-year-old star cut all ties and stopped using their images on her controllers.
I asked 'would you be interested, do you want compensation, they said no. I still offered everything else and even surprised them by getting them tix and brought them backstage to say thank you personally. They went back on the original agreement and wasn’t clear about what they now wanted and I stopped using their image on the controllers and respectfully cut ties.Zelina Vega on X
The Puerto Rican star informed the WWE Universe that she would respond to the original accuser’s claims in a specified video. Previously, she had deactivated her X account due to the toxicity of fans on the platform. Now that she’s back, fans expressed their excitement to finally reconnect with her once again.
Zelina Vega recalled the night she fought in front of her home crowd in Puerto Rico
One of the best moments of Zelina Vega’s career came when she received the opportunity to win the world title. She competed against Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley in front of her home crowd in Puerto Rico at Backlash last year. Although she wasn’t able to capture the title, she described it as one of the best nights of her life.
While talking with Corey Murphy on his YouTube channel, she expressed how special it was to receive a standing ovation from her home crowd. The 33-year-old even described that match as the best night of her life, apart from her wedding night.
I always say it's like, outside of my wedding night that was the best night of my life for sure, It's one of those things that like you never know, or you never think it's gonna happen to you but when its is actually happening, you're like, 'oh my god! I can't believe this is real,' that's some you dream about when you're a kid.Zelin Vega via murfsyt
Unfortunately, Vega has since struggled to find another opportunity to fight for the title. She has fully indulged herself in the L.W.O. storyline and always stayed in support of her idol, Rey Mysterio. Recently, she, along with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro, helped the team of Rey and Andrade gain a victory against Legado del Fantasma at WrestleMania XL.
