Real-life Bloodline member sends a cryptic message after the latest reports about his potential future in WWE
A real-life member of The Bloodline posts an ambiguous message on social media after rumors of his signing with the company.
Zilla Fatu cryptic post on social media (via WWE)
The Bloodline saga has comprised several members of the Anoa’i and Fatu families. One member of the family who has yet to make his mark in WWE is Zilla Fatu. With this story picking up steam after the return of Roman Reigns, this may soon be about to change.
Fatu posted a cryptic message on X that featured three sand clock emojis. This hinted that he was waiting for or counting down to something. Furthermore, this post was made only two hours before the latest episode of SmackDown. This led many fans to believe that he was about to make his WWE debut on the blue brand. Unfortunately, this did not end up happening.
It seems inevitable that Fatu will join WWE in the near future. There have already been reports that WWE is interested in signing him, especially after the return of Reigns at SummerSlam. Furthermore, Fatu himself has revealed that his ultimate goal is to join WWE, and he does not want to go to another company like AEW.
There have not been any reports confirming Fatu’s signing with the company yet. However, he would surely be a great addition to the company and The Bloodline saga. Roman Reigns may soon need more backup to take on the Solo Sikoa-led faction, and ‘The Main One’ may be a perfect choice. On the other hand, WWE can swerve fans and have him join the heel faction instead.
The Bloodline undergoes major championship change after Jacob Fatu suffers injury at SummerSlam
As is usually the case for SmackDown, the latest episode of the blue brand comprised multiple segments featuring The Bloodline. However, fans noticed one major change to the faction. Jacob Fatu was notably absent throughout the episode. This could be due to the Samoan Werewolf allegedly suffering an injury at SummerSlam.
Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga had defeated #DIY to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Going forward, it seems that the Samoan faction will be utilizing the Freebird rule. Tonga Loa will be acting as the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions until the 32-year-old makes his return. He was even seen carrying the championship belt on the latest episode of the show.
There is plenty of precedence for this rule in WWE. The New Day would often take advantage of this during their reign as Tag Team Champions. During the same championship reign, they would often switch around which two of the three members would take part in their tag team title matches.
