World No. 1 Iga Swiatek has been winning the hearts of many tennis supporters and pundits with her great improvisation techniques on the court. Without a doubt, she has been by far the most consistent women’s tennis star in the last two years, making it to the later stages of almost all the competitions she has featured in.

Former World No. 1 and an absolute legend of the game, Martina Navratilova, has given her views on the Pole’s forehand technique. Navratilova even went on to compare her to Novak Djokovic, saying that the Pole loves hitting the exact sidelines of the court and drawing her opponents out of the court.

Navratilova also talked about the game-reading ability of Swiatek, saying that she understands the court very well and where and when to hit a shot.

There is nothing that falls apart in her game, technically, she's very solid/sound. Even though the forehand, the way she hits it, I would not be teaching it but she, she can repeat it.
Navratilova said
She knows exactly where the strike zone is and where she needs to hit the ball. She understands the geometry of the court and spreads the court well-reminds me kinda of Novak, really hits closer to the sidelines than the other players and she pushes them off the court with the top spin and has the great backhand down the line so it's really had to read her game and its' very consistent.
