Denmark ended as the table-toppers in Group B and are one of the prime contenders to win the gold medal. They defeated Egypt, Bahrain, Portugal, and Japan to book a berth in the quarterfinal and have been a daunting prospect for the opposition teams.

However, the 32-29 win over France, the table-toppers, should boost their morale. In the first half, the two teams were locked at 15-15. But in the end, Norway upped their game to clinch victory. Norway will now want to take the momentum in the must-win game.
