Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are busy preparing for their wedding. According to sources, the couple will have two ceremonies, one in New York and possibly another one in London.

Paparazzi caught them meeting with celebrity photographer Rina Yang and hotelier Andre Balazs in early May. The reason Swift is speeding up the process, considering there’s not much time left until the wedding. Swift and Kelce are set to tie the knot on July 3, 2026.

Most of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates are expected to attend the event at the Big Apple, including head coach Andy Reid. During the May 14 appearance on Kansas City sports radio’s 96.5 The Fan, coach Reid teased whether he’s received an invitation.

I probably have. If I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going. But you keep talking about this barbecue, I might have to go get some.

Andy Reid told host Carrington Harrison

Harrison asked Reid whether he would arrange something special for the occasion.

I’m not the [attraction of the] show. I’m just gonna show up [to the wedding]. I’m so happy for them. When you come down to it, it doesn’t matter how big the show is around them; they’re in love, and that’s the most important thing.

In August 2025, Kelce announced that Swift would make her debut on the New Heights podcast. Naturally, the opportunity to watch the lovebirds in one frame intrigued everyone.

Coach Reid was asked to react to the news. The veteran said that his grandkids were really excited.

My grandkids will be all over it, but I’m happy for them. Both of them like each other, and what a plus that is. They care about each other, and I think that’s the most important thing. The older you get… You want these guys to have somebody they can settle down with and that whole deal. And so I think it’s a neat deal for them—both of them.

Swift made a very big reveal on the episode. She unveiled the cover of her album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” released in October that year.

After wrapping up the episode, Kelce took Swift to the backyard of his Kansas City apartment. Workers had set up a fairy tale-like garden where the three-time Super Bowl winner went down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life.

Later, Swift and Kelce jointly announced the news of their engagement.

Coach Reid played a big role in getting Kelce and Swift to go out together. During an October episode of his podcast, Swift hinted that “Big Red” had a hand in bringing them closer.

There were a lot of kinds of people whispering in my ear about you. And like, actually, that’s not normal. There are people willing to just go to bat for you, and be like, ‘You don’t understand. This guy is incredible…’ Thank you, Andy, for everything.

Reid had been friends with Swift’s father, Scott, since Reid was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Taylor grew up supporting the Eagles, but switched allegiance after she started dating Kelce in 2023.
