On Wednesday, Tiger Woods‘ girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, shared an unpleasant update regarding her health. In a post on her Instagram account, the 48-year-old revealed being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Trump, the ex-daughter-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, has been dating Woods since late 2024. After several speculations, Woods took to his social media accounts in March 2025 and made their relationship official.
The couple has faced some hardships. Earlier this year, Woods was involved in another car crash, which led to him being arrested under charges of property damage, refusal to submit, and DUI.
After being released on bail, the 15-time major champion announced that he was stepping away from golf. He would then fly off to Zurich, Switzerland, and take part in a rehab program.
Last week, he returned home. After reports from TMZ claimed that his private jet had landed in Florida, the golfer was pictured walking in the airport. Just as he returns and tries to move on from the incident, Trump has now faced a massive setback.
In a message on Instagram, Trump claimed that she was working closely with the doctors and her medical team and urged for privacy.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. … Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.

Recent reports suggested that Trump was backing Woods and was in full support of the golfer. According to People Magazine, the couple were seriously in love with each other and trying to move on from the car crash and arrest saga of Woods.
As per Page Six reports, Trump is known to have a busy life. Despite this, she was able to stay positive and help the PGA Tour star deal with his troubles.
Woods, meanwhile, was reported to have attended the graduation ceremony of Kai Trump, Vanessa’s daughter. The golfer arrived a bit late but left early without drawing much attention to the couple.
