LA Knight cut a resounding promo on Raw in which he unleashed on Roman Reigns trying to establish his stranglehold over WWE once again.

LA Knight bashed Roman Reigns and his Bloodline on this week’s Raw in France. After noting that he had his first-round match in the King of the Ring tournament this Friday on SmackDown, ‘The Megastar’ couldn’t help but assume that someone from the Bloodline would help Jey Uso win, with Reigns regaining power and relishing in the Bloodline vortex.
Knight told the fans chanting for Reigns that he wasn’t mad at them for doing so because ‘The OTC’ had conned the people. ‘The Defiant One’ also acknowledged how The Usos had already warned him to keep their family’s name out of his mouth, but he let the twins know that, unlike them, he didn’t take orders from Reigns.
The Maryland native affirmed that he was the chief in his neighborhood. Knight let it out that the entire Bloodline will work in unison to keep Reigns as the world champion even if the former Eli Drake were to win the KOTR crown and go on to face ‘The Tribal Chief’ for the title at SummerSlam. Knight also dragged Raw GM Adam Pearce for his alleged favoritism of Reigns and his cousins.

Is 2026 the year of Chief LA Knight? YEAH! pic.twitter.com/kDNjACUP7D
Regardless of that, Knight said he might be unchosen, but he knew the fans had clearly chosen him, and it’s been like that for years now. The erstwhile Max Dupri stressed that he chose himself above everything and he’d get the job done. He then wished his opponents luck, but especially Jey Uso, to get it done on his own without having to call his entire family down to the ringside.
‘The Yeet Master’ came out, did an encore of his entrance upon the crowd’s behest, and eventually got into Knight’s face. Uso asserted his allegiance to his family and asked ‘The Megastar’ to stay in his lane. Uso added that he didn’t need any luck to put Knight away, as he was still the arena shaker and ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso.
"SCREW YOUR FAMILY!" 😳

LA, those are fightin' words and Jey Uso doesn't want to wait until Friday to get his hands on ya! pic.twitter.com/hzasBTOmJW
Uso exited after issuing the warning shot to Knight, who stopped him halfway up that ramp, and even though LA appreciated the 40-year-old standing up for his family, the former TNA World Champion uttered, “Screw your family,” with disgust.
It got ‘The Yeet Man’ riled up, and he was ready to throw it down with LA Knight until Jimmy Uso arrived and talked his younger brother out of it. Jey kept talking trash to Knight as ‘Big Jim’ prevented the situation from escalating.
Could LA Knight actually become the King of the Ring after Seth Rollins ouster?
It was recently reported that Roman Reigns was expected to face Seth Rollins at this year’s SummerSlam. However, it’s not going to happen after Rollins failed to advance in the King of the Ring tournament in the main event of this week’s Raw. ‘The Visionary’ had the match won when he had Ricky Saints down after a stomp.

However, just as the referee started the count, Austin Theory pulled him out of the ring. While he got neutralized by Montez Ford rather shortly, Bron Breakker hit the torpedo spear on Rollins to cost him the match that Je’Von Evans eventually won.

With Breakker screwing Rollins over, it’s obvious that their feud isn’t over and they’re going to complete their trilogy soon enough. It has consequently brightened LA Knight‘s chances to become the 2026 King of the Ring to fetch himself a crack at the Reigns-held world title.
But for that, the Maryland native will need to overcome the likes of Jey Uso, Finn Balor, and Royce Keys on this week’s SmackDown. Should Knight win, he’ll take on Je’Von Evans in the semifinals of the KOTR tournament, and the winner of that match will get either Oba Femi or Dominik Mysterio in the finals at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 27.
One might think that Femi is the ultimate favorite to run roughshod through everyone in this field. However, there are strong rumors that Brock Lesnar will cost ‘The Ruler’ the KOTR crown to set up their trilogy-settling match at SummerSlam.
