It is only a matter of time before Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce decide what their surnames are going to be. After all, both are major brands, one more than the other, and it is unlikely that either would want to impact it.

Their wedding is set for July 3rd, and for that, they have booked the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Considering that it will be the time of their lives, having a massive arena at their disposal is a sensible move.

The billionaire musical artist won’t have any problem shelling out the money needed to book the Garden, which on its own can be quite a number.

Then, when it was revealed that 1000-1200 people would attend, it raised questions about the need for such a large venue. TMZ knew that, and called in David Tutera to pick his brain.

We need to condense the space for them,… so it can be more intimate. They need to bring the outside to the inside, so people can get comfortable… I would bring in trees, I would bring in visuals.

David Tutera said

The famed wedding planner suggested making the Garden smaller on the inside to fill the space. The arena is built to accommodate 22,000 people during a concert.

With that much space, and with fewer than 5% of the people inside it, Tutera believes that without proper planning, the guests could be overwhelmed.

Even though his suggestion might raise some eyebrows, it might make sense for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift to do something about the massive space they have available to them.

While David Tutera might have some bizarre ideas, Taylor Swift might already be aware of the challenge. After all, she has performed at Madison Square Garden quite a few times, so she knows what it entails.

She was also there for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, maybe to go over a few things before the game started. That is because she is a step ahead in filling up the Garden.

She has commissioned a massive stage for her and Travis Kelce’s wedding event at Madison Square Garden … and it’s being secretly built at a Pennsylvania production facility.

TMZ revealed

The publication also revealed that Rock Lititz in Lititz, Pennsylvania, is building this massive stage. It is a place where musicians and bands rehearse for their major tours.

Therefore, the campus is capable of building something as massive as what is needed to cover a lot of space at MSG. TMZ learned that both Kelce and Swift’s guests may be invited to the stage to perform.

NYC Mayor seemingly confirms Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is on July 3rd

Some of the guests invited have informed TMZ that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might not be getting married at Madison Square Garden.

The actual wedding might take place before, at an undisclosed location, with fewer guests. Whereas the Garden will only be a ‘reception’ of sorts. However, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani gave a hint that it is happening at the arena.

We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one (FIFA World Cup). We know it coincides with the Knicks’ Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding, all happening at the same time.

Mayor Mamdani said

This was a press briefing with the Mayor a few days ago. Therefore, it is not a given that what he said was the utmost truth. Swift has a habit of leading the media and fans in different directions.

Therefore, the actual event could still be a surprise. However, the couple has been spending a lot of time in New York lately, which could be an indication that they could exchange their vows at MSG.
