Kyle Larson’s Wife ‘Did Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney Dirty’ With Hilarious Scooter Video

The whole NASCAR community is at the iconic Naval Base Coronado in San Diego for the maiden race week in the military base. Two contenders for this week, Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney, has found themselves in a hilarious situation, curtesy of the reigning champion Kyle Larson’s wife Kaitlyn Larson.

She shared a video on her Instagram story, where the HMS and Team Penske racers were scene riding the same e-scooter. The No:12 driver gave his long-time friend/rival a lift on his scooter from their hotel to the Naval Air Station North Island. Mrs. Larson filmed it for her fans, as she wasn’t going to miss the ‘Dumb and Dumber’ movie like moment.

Kaitlyn did us dirty on that one. But we’re sitting at the same hotel and I was like, ‘Hey, I got a scooter if you want a ride, instead of walking two miles’ and he was like, ‘yeah’… So yeah, I appreciate her for filming.

Riding the e-scooter that is only supposed to carry Max wight of 220 pounders wasn’t that wise of a choice for the Ryan Blaney. He talked about it on the media interaction and admitted that he and Chase Elliott overheated the machine. It was a hilarious moment that the whole community would enjoy and will mock the duo for some time.

My scooter only has seven miles of battery charge to it and it’s two miles here. Then it had to go 3.5 miles on the racetrack and the thing’s only supposed to hold a max weight of like 220 pounds and Chase and I exceed that. I think we overheated it a little bit.

Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott also talked about the viral moment during his media session. He admitted that taking a ride with Blaney wasn’t on his bingo card for the week, but he just took it because his friend offered him a ride.

When I left the house this week, I don’t think I had me on the back of another man’s scooter on my bingo card, but here we are. And you know what? I was going to walk and my man offered me a ride and off we went.

The veteran also talked about the battery running out and almost running the track walk of the Ford driver, as he usually uses the scooter. Blaney had a back-up e-scooter with him and that helped them to complete the session without any issues.

So fortunately, he had a secondary scooter here and he was kind enough to let me have that one on the way back tonight so we don’t have to do that again, which is alright with me.

The comments from the veteran racer shows the hilarious side of the friendship moment they had ahead of one of the most challenging races of the 2026 season. It would be interesting to see of they can keep the smiley face after Sunday’s event.
