The story of ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller has taken a wild turn. Days after surviving a life-threatening car accident, Miller is being accused of fraud.
Miller’s sister, Caitlin Bever-Miller, created a GoFundMe account to help her brother pay off his medical bills. Meanwhile, NFL analyst Tommy Callahan uploaded screenshots of Reddit conversations that included history involving Miller scamming people by using his fantasy account.
Sleeper ‘charity’ leagues where he allegedly took 50%+ admin cut or never paid winners. … Paid scouting lessons where people sent money upfront and then got little to no response or delivery when it came to schedule. … Annual subscriptions to his scouting sites and newsletters where content stopped but chargers kept coming. Now, the same guy is asking the same audience for money.

And it’s actually even worse. Not only has he been scamming for a very long time, he allegedly also has a history of sexually harassing teenagers using burner accounts. Some being friends of his daughter.

You all should please dig up his Coats for Charity. I did research after I fell off about my donation, and I was convinced he was a scammer then years ago. I found no proof of a charity. I was SHOCKED ESPN hired him.

You’re just getting to tip of the iceberg.
Twitter user “Rob G” asked Callahan whether Miller’s accident is also fake. Callahan didn’t dismiss the possibility that the accident might have been a suicide attempt.
No, Matt Miller’s sister-in-law started the GoFundMe. His family runs a charity & is likely simply familiar with the process of fundraising. But the reason they are in a position to do so- that is loaded… His accident could have been a suicide attempt.

What happened to Matt Miller?
Last week, Miller posted a lengthy text explaining that he was in a car accident. Surgeons had to amputate his left arm to save his life.

Miller also sustained several minor injuries all over his body.
Last week, I was involved in a serious car accident in Missouri and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital. I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care I have received, from the first responders to the doctors, nurses and medical staff. I’m incredibly fortunate to be writing this. As a result of the accident, I sustained significant injuries, including multiple fractures and broken ribs. I also underwent a life-saving amputation of my left arm. While I have a long road ahead, I’m focused on my recovery and taking things one day at a time.
