Williams, a third-year starter for the Bears, lost weight during the offseason. When asked about the reason behind his transformation, the 24-year-old highlighted that he had been following a strict diet to become leaner.
It’s good, I’m excited about that. Be able to move a little bit better. Be smoother…. Just being able to also bring that into the facility with the strength staff, things like that, things I’ve done. Things that work well with me and being able to adjust and be better for the season.

So how much did Caleb Williams lose?
[I lost] around 10-15 pounds, something like that. Eating at certain times, going to bed and not eating after 7 [p.m.], and just eating consistently, eating well.

In the past, Williams hinted that he had been on the TB12–Tom Brady diet for a while.
Obviously he has the knowledge of 22 years, however long he played, of playing ball and being healthy.
Williams told Courtney Cronin of ESPN
Williams has aspirations to match Brady’s playing career. So, the best way to do that is to follow the same diet.
[I’m eating] no white rice, no white flour, no red sauce. We got a bunch of other things, no sugar. It’s a couple of things in there.

According to the Bears website, Williams’s weight is listed as 226 pounds. If he has lost 10-15 pounds, then he should be close to 210.
Caleb Williams gives generous endorsement to tight end Colston Loveland
One of the surprise packages last season for the Bears was rookie tight end Colston Loveland. After a rough start, Loveland became Williams’ go-to man for the rest of the year.

Loveland finished the year with 58 receptions for 713 yards and scored 6 touchdowns. It wasn’t on par with Raiders’ Brock Bowers’ rookie season but impressive nonetheless. Williams believes Loveland could be even better in 2026.
[Loveland] can become the best tight end in the league. I think he [already] is… Stats and us going out there and proving it is what it’s gonna take. To be able to do that, we’ve gotta put in work. We’ve gotta build a connection. Hang out inside and outside the building. Have tough conversations, or have open communication throughout the year and throughout camp. It’s gonna be exciting, it’s gonna be fun.
