Nearly a year ago, the football world was still talking about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s romance when another singer, Madison Beer, entered the chat after pictures of her hanging out with Justin Herbert came to light.
The Make You Mine singer had just ended her on-and-off relationship with internet celebrity Nick Austin, which led many to believe she was probably just treading water with someone outside the entertainment industry.
Since then, they have been pictured together several times for fans to realize that this relationship was serious. Her appearances at basketball games, her support for him during his games, and even romantic getaways added to the seriousness.
So serious that now, after the Kelce-Swift marriage is over, the two are going to be the talk of the sports world for a while. His performances on the field notwithstanding, the one aspect that will be discussed about Herbert will be his future wedding date.
That is because he decided to slip a ring around Madison Beer’s finger, indicating that he wants to marry her. Surely, he will not have come to this decision without knowing for sure she is the one.
Fans have jokes for Justin Herbert after getting engaged to Madison Beer
Madison Beer broke the news with a ‘Meet My Fiancé‘ post on Instagram that went viral enough to draw millions of likes and views. Most of the reactions were those of pure joy, as fans celebrated them committing to marry each other.
But many had all sorts of jokes lined up for her fiancé. It so happens that Justin Herbert has often been viewed as someone who has immense potential, but has not been able to come through on the hype. Fans used that part to post hilarious reactions on social media, examples of which are below.

Justin Herbert and Madison Beer are probably going to celebrate this for a short while before he has to return to work. But after that, he performs on the field will likely get similar commentary to what fans reacted to his engagement.
Justin Herbert and Chargers could enter Vita Vea stakes
Contrary to those jokes, Justin Herbert did not have a bad year last season. Despite losing both his offensive tackles and starting running back, the quarterback produced enough to get his second Pro Bowl callup.

This season, with the offensive line significantly improved and sophomore running back Omarion Hampton set to take a big leap under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, the odds are lining up for Herbert to possibly have his best season so far.
But the team is still some distance from being considered contenders, especially when AFC contenders are expected to be stronger next season. With their offense seemingly settled, the franchise could bring in a player who already wants out of his current situation and wants to play in California.
The Rams have dismissed any interest, probably because of a possible Aaron Donald return. But Vita Vea could still play in SoFi Stadium, albeit with the ‘other’ LA team.
The Chargers are not particularly loaded on the defensive line. Bringing in a two-time Pro Bowler who draws double and triple teams will help the others feast on opposing QB’s. Jim Harbaugh‘s defense might be that one piece away from being dominant.
