Justin Herbert and Madison Beer started going out last year. Nearly ten months after kissing on the sidelines at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium, the pair is going strong.

While Herbert prepares for the 2026 NFL season, Beer is two months into her Locket tour across Europe, the US and the UK, which kicked off in May. She has sold out venues in Austin, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Beer will also perform at Madison Square Garden, the iconic arena that recently hosted Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. Fans hoping to buy the few remaining tickets to the concert noticed something peculiar. The price for one ticket was as low as $7.14 on ticket master.

The California Post (the New York Post) also saw the cheapest ticket price being just $16.

Herbert missed the first few days of the LA Chargers OTAs to accompany Beer on her tour. Head coach Jim Harbaugh covered for his star quarterback.

I was happy he went to support Madison [Beer] at the music tour. He told me he wasn’t going to be here for two weeks, and my first reaction was, ‘Do you need a ride to the airport?

In a recent interview, Beer shed light on her relationship with Herbert.

When I’m having a convo [conversation] with my boyfriend, my hair could be on fire and I wouldn’t notice. And to be honest with you, he’s the first person I’ve ever felt that way about. Like, the world could be ending around me and I wouldn’t realize. It’s just so mature — he came into my life at the perfect time. Our first date was literally at my house because we were scared to go in public.

Former rival quarterback gives a bold take on Justin Herbert

Herbert has played six seasons in the NFL, with little to nothing to show for it. His rookie year will go down as one of the best in league history, but that’s beside the point. He needs to deliver more consistent wins.

Sure, he’s part of arguably the toughest division in football, facing Patrick Mahomes and Bo Nix four times, got harder with Kirk Cousins signing with the Raiders. But that can’t be an excuse. The Chargers are paying him over $50 million every year (since 2023) to win the Super Bowl. So far, Herbert only has three postseason defeats on his CV, making him an easy target for NFL experts.

At this juncture, the Pro Bowler just received backing from a former rival. Derek Carr, who played many games for both the Raiders and Saints, has unwavering faith in Herbert to win a ring.

In the latest episode of Home Grown, Carr, along with co-host and brother, retired NFL quarterback David Carr, discussed Herbert’s chances of winning a Super Bowl.

Justin Herbert… now, has he been perfect? Absolutely not… Is he good enough to win a Super Bowl? Absolutely he is. I get so sick of hearing that he’s not. He is good enough.

Derek Carr said in the latest episode

The Carr brothers noted that Harbaugh has already elevated Herbert’s game in the last two years. More importantly, he now has offensive guru Mike McDaniel as his mentor and possibly game-day offensive play-caller.

Notable football analysts Dalton Wasserman and Max Chadwick sort of agree with the Carr brothers. Herbert ranks seventh on their list of best quarterbacks heading into the new season.

Last year, Herbert carried the Chargers to an 11-5 record (second in the AFC West) while playing behind the league’s worst offensive line. He completed 340 passes (66.4%) for 377 yards, 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
