Jalen Brunson Trolling Jaylen Brown at Donovan Mitchell & Coco Jones’ Wedding Goes Viral
New York Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson has been a thorn for Jaylen Brown and his former team in the past few postseasons.

Heading into the new NBA season, there is no doubt that the likes of Jaylen Brown, Donovan Mitchell, Tyrese Haliburton, and other major Eastern Conference superstars are gunning for Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks.
The latter were not seen as championship favorites until the playoffs started. Even during the first-round battle against the Atlanta Hawks, their back-to-back losses led many to believe the team was about to exit the tournament.
That meant the likes of Brown, Mitchell, and the others were about to get a chance to fight for the championship. But after those two losses, the Knicks turned up their ante and steamrolled everyone in their path.
Brown’s Celtics were booted out in the first round, and Brunson and his teammates swept Mitchell’s Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Now, these three happened to be at the same event for the first time since the Knicks hoisted the Larry O’Brien trophy.
The event was Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones‘ wedding reception. He had invited Jaylen Brown, Bam Adebayo, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and a few others.
These superstars are generally friendly off the court. But when a chance appeared, the 2026 Finals MVP took it to troll the others. The newest 76ers superstar was filming videos during the reception.
At one point, he panned to where the Knicks point guard was dancing with his wife beside him. The moment Brunson saw this, he started to sway while still locked on Brown’s phone.
"JOSH!" 😂

He was essentially trolling his rival, smiling the entire time Brown was filming. At the end, he tried to add some additional flavor and called out teammate and close friend Hart to join him in trolling the 76ers’ star. But by then, the California Golden Bear understood what was about to happen and stopped filming.
Mikal Bridges joins Jalen Brunson to troll Jaylen Brown
Jaylen Brown might have been trolled, but that did not stop him from posting this clip on Instagram. Soon, it went viral enough that it caught the attention of not just fans, but also other players.
Most notable among them was New York Knicks star Mikal Bridges. The forward did not repost the entire clip. But he posted a screenshot that shows Jalen Brunson’s smiling face locked in on the 76ers superstar.
It seems Knicks players are having a lot of fun taking shots at their rivals. Even though the Eastern Conference’s landscape has changed over this offseason, the champions do not want to let go of any opportunity to remind their opponents that they are at the top of the mountain.

Adebayo’s Miami Heat and Brown’s retooled Philadelphia 76ers are touted as the teams that could dethrone the Knicks from their perch this coming season. But until that happens, such moments will likely continue, both from Knicks players and their passionate fans.
Jaylen brown and Jalen Brunson almost missed the invite to Donovan Mitchell’s wedding
Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones’ wedding reception was not the only event on Sunday. Newly married Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones held their reception on the same day.

The latter was held in Indianapolis, whereas the Cavs superstar held his in New York. The location helped most of these players to arrive without much fanfare, but both Jalen Brunson and Jaylen Brown almost did not make it.
The latter met Mitchell during the 2026 All-Star weekend in Los Angeles and confronted the Cavs guard about not sending the wedding invitation. Then, the former 13th-overall pick made it clear that his assistant sent out all the invites. But he did not get an RSVP from either Brunson or Brown.

At this point, the latter realized that the invitation came from a number he did not recognize. That means the five-time All-Star and the Knicks guard had to find out about it, and eventually made it to the reception.
