Both LeBron James and Tyrese Haliburton will be heading into the 2026-27 campaign with a point to prove. James is coming off an impressive 23rd season in the NBA, while Haliburton missed the entire season due to injury.

While James will be playing in his 24th season, he is beginning a new experience as he joined the Philadelphia 76ers in the offseason after parting ways with the Los Angeles Lakers. Meanwhile, Haliburton is embarking on a new journey in his personal life after tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones.

On Friday, Haliburton posted photos from his wedding ceremony on Instagram. The photos were loved and appreciated by many, including James, who congratulated the newly married couple in the comments. James commented:

LeBron James and Haliburton share a good relationship. During the James free agency saga, the 26-year-old tried to use their friendship to lure James to sign with the Indiana Pacers. Unfortunately for him, the King just laughed it off and did not take the offer seriously.

The two stars became close over the past few years. They bonded a lot during their time together at the Paris Olympics in 2024. While Haliburton played just 26 minutes in the entire competition, James was one of the best players and led Team USA to a gold medal.

Since then, the Pacers guard has come a long way and even led his team to the NBA Finals last year. Sadly, he suffered a devastating injury as he tore his Achilles Tendon in Game 7 of the Finals. Not only did the Pacers lose in the end, but they also lost their best player for the entire 2025-26 campaign. But now, it looks like he is ready to go.

Caitlin Clark had a four-word message for Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones

Both Haliburton and Jones had a courthouse wedding a couple of weeks ago. The event that took place on Friday was a formal event. The couple are close to WNBA star Caitlin Clark and became double date partners with her and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery.

Haliburton and Jones have been in a relationship for over seven years. They began seeing each other during their college days at Iowa State. It is good to see things go well for the NBA star in his personal life after a rough 12 months in his professional career. The wedding saw many of his Pacers teammates and legends.

Tyrese Haliburton and Jones share a common group chat with Clark and McCaffery. The four of them regularly hang out and go on double dates. With Clark playing in the same city for the Indiana Fever, it is a lot easier for them to spend time with each other.

The newlyweds were seen court side as Clark and the Fever took on the Las Vegas Aces on Friday night.

The couple were caught all smiles when the cameras were focused on them. Jones was seen flaunting her wedding ring, while Haliburton cheered on.

The game ended up being a thriller with Clark coming up short in overtime. The Fever suffered their 12th loss of the campaign as they were beaten 86-84 at home.

Clark had a difficult night, recording 20 points, three rebounds, and eight assists but committing eight turnovers. The loss saw the Fever drop to fifth place in the WNBA standings with a 19-12 record.
