This is the 22nd season of Aaron Rodgers playing in the National Football League, and the general perception of him has always been that of a diva quarterback who believes his intelligence is way beyond that of common folk.

That has led to some remarkable comments and opinions throughout his career. Be it about the game, its officiating, coaches, opposing players, teammates, and even other teams, there is a general undertone of some spice whenever he speaks.

Over the past few years, Rodgers has expanded his opinions to politics and other problems in the world. So much so that fans want to tune in whenever he is scheduled to speak on any platform.

A recent incident happened when he called out ESPN for not discussing the Mike Vrabel–Dianna Russini scandal, while he appeared on a special episode of The Pat McAfee Show.

As ironic as it was, there is no denying that his presence usually sends beads of sweat down everyone’s forehead. That is why whenever cameras follow him, the expectation is that he will say something wild.

But over the last two weekends, some instances have started to show Aaron Rodgers’ ‘soft side.’ To start with, he has reconciled with his family ever since he married Brittani. The extent to which that reunion has developed was evident when older brother Luke Rodgers shared a couple of pictures on Instagram.

The first one shows the QB standing alongside his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, along with Luke Rodgers, his wife, Aimee, and their three children.

Following pictures and videos show the Steelers superstar spending time with his nieces and nephew. The heartfelt interactions seem to have warmed opinions about the Super Bowl champion.

Those moments with his family took place at Acrisure Stadium when the Indianapolis Colts came to visit in Week 5. Thankfully, his family managed to enjoy an impressive performance from Aaron Rodgers, with his 235 yards and three touchdowns leading them to a win.

The following week, the Steelers traveled to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. The Steelers wanted to take advantage of the fact that their opponents featured an undrafted rookie quarterback.

Even though he managed to lead his team to an upset win in Week 5, it was against the inconsistent Dallas Cowboys. Jalon Daniels did not have a good game, as the Steelers forced two interceptions off him.

After such a horror show, any signal caller worth his salt would be sulking. But when it was time to meet and speak with Aaron Rodgers, the 23-year-old’s face lit up. He ended up asking his childhood hero for the latter’s jersey.

The 42-year-old instantly smiled and let him know he would get it. Then, in a heartwarming gesture, Rodgers asked Daniels if he could have his jersey. This surprised the Bucs star, but he gathered himself before letting his idol know that he would send his over.

Those two heartwarming moments may show Aaron Rodgers‘ soft side. After all, he has come a long way after being estranged from his family to now where he is enjoying his time with them.

Then, making a rookie quarterback comfortable enough to ask for his jersey was another great show of character. But the other side of his character did not suddenly vanish away. It was evident when he was speaking with reporters after the game.

Gotta be one of the worst surfaces in the league… We’re talking about player safety.

Aaron Rodgers said

The four-time league MVP remarked that he was grateful not to be injured, but mentioned that he had suffered before. Surprisingly, this was an attack on a natural grass field that Raymond James Stadium has.

Most of the criticisms recently have been about the artificial turf some stadiums use. But something about the turf in Tampa Bay did not please Aaron Rodgers, and he made sure his opinions were out in the open.
