“He’s a fraud”- Skip Bayless slams Aaron Rodgers for his shameful playoff performance as the Packers lose…AGAIN!

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers once again will not be suiting up for the super bowl. Their latest playoff failure came at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. This loss extends the Super Bowl drought to 11 seasons and this one might be the worst of them all.
There are no doubts about this Green Bay Packers team. Of all the postseason teams they were arguably the best of the lot. With the likes of Rodgers on his way to another MVP, Davante Adams having another great season and a defense that was actually competent, unlike the previous years.
There was absolutely no reason why this Packers team if playing to their abilities, should have lost to the 49ers. Of course, they didn’t come anywhere near to the level that they were capable of and the result was a humiliating 13-10 loss and a first game exit. Rodgers in particular had quite a poor game and Skip Bayless had an absolute field day with it.

Skip Bayless singles out Aaron Rodgers for the Packers loss

Appearing on Fox Sports’ ‘Undisputed’ Skip Bayless had this to say about the dreadful performance “I can kill Aaron Rodgers for this because I have been killing him for the last 10 years on television. I’ve been saying he’s not that guy in the postseason. That he’s never ever lived up to his now, 4 regular-season MVPs, in post-season performances. He is now 1-4 in NFC championship games because the one that he won at Soldier Field was against Caleb Hanie in the second half and in that game he struggled.”
Continuing about Rodgers’ past playoff failures, Bayless added “Since that long ago, far away Super Bowl run, he’s now 7-9 in the postseason. 7-9. I’m going to give him 75% of the blame for this game because he had the better team, he had the healthier team, he was playing at home with the #1 seed and he had the late chances to put this game away and he did not do it, right on cue. Another thing that trended after the game was ‘Aaron Fraudgers’, it’s not my nickname but I wish I thought of it because that’s basically what I’ve been calling him for 10 years.”
Quite bold statements from Skip there but by far the boldest was “He is a fraud in the postseason. He is overhyped and completely overrated in the postseason. I wanna point out that in those 7 wins he has in the postseason one came against a receiver playing quarterback for Minnesota(Joe Webb) the next one came in the ‘Dez caught it game’ because Dez definitely caught it so he got away with that one and the next one came courtesy of Kirk Cousins who actually played like ‘Kurt Cousins’.”
Skip Bayless is never one to really hold back on what he truly thinks and he never has on Aaron Rodgers but this time around, basically the whole sporting network is in consensus with Bayless’ statements. This was a game that Rodgers absolutely could not afford to lose. Not only did he manage to lose it but he dropped a ridiculously bad performance in it and solidified his argument for why he simply can not even be compared to the true GOAT, Tom Brady.
