WWE gives a medical update on Daniel Bryan

This week on Smackdown, the Reigns-Uso family feud took a new turn. Jey Uso also turned Heel, just like his cousin, the Universal Champion. After losing to Reigns in an I Quit match at Hell in a Cell, Uso had to face consequences. Roman Reigns demanded Uso to accept Reigns as the head of the family. Or he and his whole family would no longer be a part of their Samoan wrestling family.
By the end of the night, Jey Uso accepted Reigns as the head of the table. Reigns, as his first order to his cousin, asked Uso to attack Bryan.
Attack on Bryan

Jey Uso was facing Daniel Bryan in the main event of Friday night Smackdown. It was a qualifier match, with the winner earning a spot on Team Smackdown for Survivor Series. Uso emerged victorious in the match. He agreed Reigns to be his leader after the match.
On Reigns’ orders Uso brutally attacked Daniel Bryan. He place Bryan on the announcers table, and hit an Uso splash from the top rope. Bryan crashed through the table.
The attacked continued even after Smackdown went off air. WWE posted the video of the assault, after the show went off-air. Bryan evidently was seriously injured in the assault.
WWE has now released a medical update on Bryan. A part of the statement read, “”WWE Medical recommended Bryan be transported to a local medical facility where multiple imaging tests were performed and revealed a bruised kidney and multiple strains and contusions throughout his thoracic and lumbar spine. Bryan was released from the facility last night and is now convalescing at home.”
Daniel Bryan had returned to WWE just a couple of weeks back, after a short break. From the statement it seems like Bryan will again be out of action for a couple of weeks. While Uso will be seen in action at Survivor Series representing the Blue brand.
