New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers addressed the rumors about a possible reunion with Davante Adams, the wide receiver at Las Vegas Raiders. Adams has voiced a strong desire to reunite with Rodgers at the Jets, a move that has been widely speculated by the media.

Additionally, he’s exhibited an interest in joining forces with Derek Carr, his former teammate at Fresno State, in New Orleans. Rodgers praised Adams with whom he shared a team from 2014 to 2021. However, Rodgers refused to add more as he said that he has restrictions on how much he could reveal and say about something.

I don’t know how much I can say about it because of tampering, but I still have a close friendship with him. We spend time in the offseason together. He’s a great guy and a great player. The rest of that is out of my hands.

Aaron Rodgers told the reporters

It is evident that Rodgers would prefer a trusted friend in the New York Jets with the experience of Davante Adams. Adams who’s turning 32 this year is in the hunt for a Super Bowl, much like the Green and White who last won in the 1960s.

Adams revealed in an interview during the offseason that Rodgers had been actively encouraging him to join the Jets. Rodgers, in turn, expressed his excitement about the possibility of playing alongside Adams. Furthermore, Adams noted that he misses playing with Rodgers.

Adams joined the Vegas in 2022 after contract disputes in Green Bay, racking 2,660 yards and 22 touchdowns in two seasons. However, this year, he’s been hindered by a hamstring injury, limiting him to 209 yards and one touchdown in three games. His status for the upcoming game against the Broncos remains uncertain.

Aaron Rodgers cleared the ‘rift’ rumors ahead of London game

Saleh attributed some of these penalties to Rodgers’ cadence, while the latter disagreed. Despite initial disagreements, both parties have since clarified their positions and emphasized their strong relationship. Rodgers believes that there may be external forces attempting to sow discord between them.

I think there’s some driving force trying to put a wedge [from] outside the facility between Robert and I. We’re really good friends. We enjoy each other… So we’ve got a great relationship.

Aaron Rodgers added

Earlier, Rodgers spoke about how he mutes the outside silence once the game is played. He added that he doesn’t care about the media rumors and pays no heed to them.
