Amid growing concerns about the strained relationship between Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, the quarterback has reassured fans that their relationship remains solid. After a frustrating 10-9 loss in Week 4, marked by numerous penalties, many suspected a sideline soap opera was brewing in New York.
In Week 3, Rodgers seemed to shrug off a hug offered by Saleh and glared a death stare. Even though Rodgers cleared the air regarding the incident, the press debate next week spiked the concerns. A brutal loss to the Broncos led Saleh to comment on Rodgers’ cadence and potential changes. Of course, it didn’t go well with Rodgers who denounced his coach’s words, emphasizing his cadence as a weapon.
Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Rodgers said that he doesn’t care about the media narratives. He explained that he chooses not to get into conversations outside the building about him or his relationships.
"Rob and I have a great relationship and we have since day one when I got here..

Rodgers iterated that he and Saleh share a good bond. He added that they engage in conversations outside of football through their conversation threads.
Rodgers made a note to add that it is on the players to work and utilize cadence as a weapon. He further pointed out that they need to win games to avoid talks about whether they are getting along.
Aaron Rodgers is set to travel to London for his career’s second international game
The NFL started playing the International series overseas in 2007 when the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants locked horns in Wembley Stadium. The latter defeated the Dolphins to win the first-ever NFL regular season game hosted outside North America.
Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers only played his first international game in 2022 when the Packers hosted the Big Blue at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Unfortunately, the result didn’t go in Rodgers’ favor.
The Giants defeated the Packers 27-22 to keep their London record squeaky clean. The 40-year-old Rodgers is making one more attempt to overcome the past and win his first-ever international game.
The New York Jets will be facing Sam Darnold, whom they let go, and his undefeated Minnesota Vikings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Jets vs. Vikings is the first NFL game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after they became the wealthiest club. A Jets win would be tough, but not impossible.
