It appears the New York Jets are all set for the upcoming season, as they aren’t leaving any stone unturned to repeat the mistakes of the past season. The season when their whole offense collapsed after Aaron Rodgers’ injury and the Jets were the first team to be eliminated from the playoffs. 

But moving into the next season, the Jets are prepared along with the return of the fully recovered quarterback Rodgers. Lately, there have been quite a few videos from the franchise’s training sessions where it appears a new dynamic QB-WR duo is in the making. That’s increasing the expectations of fans to the roof. 

The official X handle of the Jets shared a glimpse of another workout session with Garrett Wilson and Rodgers, this one more intense than the prior ones. In the video, the former NFL MVP can be seen getting some snaps and throwing in the direction of the young star wide receiver. 

Even though the Jets have struggled with their quarterback position, Wilson has really come through for the team as a star player, right from his rookie season. And with Rodgers in the lead, Wilson has the potential to have an All-Pro season. If the Jets’ offensive line can manage the season without any injury setbacks, they can be a real contender in the AFC, aiming for the Super Bowl.

With that being said, fans have high expectations from both Wilson and Rodgers for next season. Last season, they lost their hopes many times when the quarterback took time to return but they stood by the team despite all the criticisms and drawbacks. And now, with all the sweet talk about a solid comeback of Rodgers, they are expecting more from the team. 

Those expectations appear to have reached the roof after the franchise teased them with a glimpse of Rodgers and Wilson’s practice together. One fan wrote, “It’s all I’ve ever wanted,” another fan wrote, “Look at the zip on that ball. We’re so back.” Here are some of the fan reactions: 

Fans thanked the Jets for the video as it made their mornings. However, some also expressed concern saying they are not ready to be hurt again. Perhaps, it’s now in the hands of the upcoming quarterback-receiver duo to prove them wrong and have a winning season.
