It only seems like yesterday when Tom Brady called Aaron Rodgers the greatest passer in NFL history. Technically, Rodgers should return the favor by giving Brady a similar compliment. But over the years, football fans have learnt that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t like to beat around the bush when assessing his peers.
So, Rodgers recently sat down with his good pal Pat McAfee at the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp. Since this is his final year in the NFL, fans are curious what his life would look like after retirement.
Rodgers, 42, has previously stated that he plans to lead a discreet lifestyle. He echoed the same while discussing the same topic with McAfee, but in his own Aaron Rodgers’ way.
I am not gonna be, you know, out there doing podcasts (freaked McAfee)… Chasing down weird [ ] parties [on] the East Coast—wearing white (McAfee burst out laughing)… I am not gonna be doing anything… I am gonna be out of the lights.

Social media reacts to Aaron Rodgers alleged diss on Tom Brady
Sure, Rodgers never directly mentioned Tom Brady’s name in his monologue, but still fans managed to connect the dots. Brady has been a frequent guest on Fanatics owner/founder Michael Rubin’s “White Party” in Vegas for several years.

Brady has hosted the Let’s Go! Podcast after hanging up his cleats. He has also appeared in several. Recently, he appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights show as well.

Rodgers did not stop there. He took a quick swipe at ESPN, calling it a “gutless organization.”
Rodgers is not the first to call Brady out for associating with Rubin. Earlier in the year, staunch Patriots supporter and founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, urged Brady to cut ties with Rubin after witnessing the former Patriots signal-caller’s unhinged beef with Logan Paul at the FIFA World Cup.
Can somebody please shake Tom Brady and tell him to get as far away from Michael Rubin as possible and stop lamifying his entire legacy.
Portnoy tweeted

That’s not all. The four-time league MVP blasted ESPN and other mainstream news networks for showing reluctance to cover the Dianna Russini scandal that shocked the football world in April.
Rodgers was ready to retire after the Texans knocked the Steelers out in the wildcard round last season. The Steelers even drafted Drew Allar as a contingency if the Super Bowl winner had decided to retire.
Rodgers chose to prolong his career and return for a 22nd year in the NFL. He credited his wife Brittani and head coach Mike McCarthy for helping him make the decision. But 2026 will be his final year in the league.
