“Bro looks scared” – Anthony Joshua trolled BRUTALLY after ghosting Deontay Wilder’s face-to-face call out in press conference
After years of anticipation, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder were finally present in the same room for their upcoming fights.

After years of speculation, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder were negotiating a potential fight in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh. Additionally, Wilder and Joshua were expected to fight at the main event between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. However, the heavyweight unification fight between Fury and Usyk was postponed to 2024 after Fury’s fight with Francis Ngannou. Furthermore, the highly anticipated heavyweight clash between Joshua and Wilder was also canceled.
According to Eddie Hearn, the fight was canceled due to an issue with the fighters’ purses. Wilder will not face Joshua next however, it is anticipated that the two heavyweights will take part in the same card. Both fighters are currently in the process of preparing for their respective bouts, which are scheduled for December 23. As such, they appeared at a press conference for their fights in December, and Wilder told Joshua:
It's been a long time coming, I wish you nothing but the best bro. Hopefully soon we can get it on the ring and give the people what they want, once and for all.
The moment was historic since the banter between Wilder and Joshua has been going on since early 2015. Surprisingly, this was the first time both heavyweights were present in the same room and talking to each other face-to-face. In the main event of Joshua’s next fight, he will take on Otto Wallin.
Subsequently, the co-main event will be between Wilder and Joseph Parker in a twelve-round fight. Joshua’s last fight was against Robert Helenius, and Joshua won the match via a seventh-round KO. Similarly, Wilder’s last fight was also with Helenius, which he won via a first-round KO.

People have been waiting for Wilder and Joshua to fight since they were undefeated heavyweight champions with perfect records. But over the years, both of their KO rates have gone down, and both fighters aren’t undefeated heavyweight champions anymore. However, boxing fans are still highly excited about the prospect of the two heavyweights fighting.
Over the years, Wilder has always blamed Joshua for avoiding their fight and not settling during their negotiations. However, in the recent press conference, Wilder did not mention this and rather spoke to Joshua very cordially. Subsequently, while Wilder briefly spoke to Joshua, Joshua remained silent and blank. Fans reacted to this by stating, “Bro looks scared ngl.”
In addition, fans trolled Joshua after the press conference because of how blank he was and because he appeared scared. Furthermore, some fans commented that Joshua is scared for his life and does not want to fight Wilder.
