Two of the best boxers from their respective sports were spotted together recently. It was none other than the pound-for-pound champion Terence Crawford and the UFC lightweight fighter Dustin Poirier. The two had an unexpected link up recently at the Cajundome, a stadium, arena, and sports venue in Lafayette, LA.
Both fighters seemed to have unexpectedly run into each other while attending an event at the Cajundome Stadium. While Terence Crawford wore a normal pass with his credentials, Poirier had a VIP pass. Furthermore, Everlast was part of the event, and Poirier’s affiliation with Everlast made him acquire the VIP pass. In addition, Poirier posted the picture on social media stating:

The respect remains mutual between the two legends of combat sports. Crawford is an American professional boxer born in Omaha, Nebraska. Known for his exceptional boxing skills and versatility, Crawford has significantly impacted the sport and is often considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world. Recently, he defeated Errol Spence Jr. to become the undisputed welterweight champion in boxing.
Similarly, Poirier is an American professional mixed martial artist known for his successful career in the UFC. He was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and Poirier has become one of MMA’s most accomplished and respected fighters. He hopes to fight in the historic UFC 300 card in 2024.
