Joe Rogan talks about the scariest version of Mike Tyson
Joe Rogan has been a fan of boxing for a long time and has followed the sport since his younger days. The UFC color commentator likes to talk about boxing legends frequently on his Spotify Podcast show. In one of such discussions, Rogan talked about the prime version of the legendary Mike Tyson. According to Rogan, Tyson in the late 80s was an absolute beast. Rogan also mentioned that he would undoubtedly choose Tyson against any other fighter in history.
He said: “Mike Tyson in his prime. In those years like 86 to 90, where he was just storming the gates. I’d put that Mike Tyson up against anybody who ever lived. That guy was a special fighter. He was a juggernaut, just you couldn’t stop him….A f**** destroyer man, where every fight was an execution. I mean just ferocious, destructive, accurate.”
History is blessed with some of the most dangerous and lethal fighters but Tyson definitely stands out from all of them. ‘Iron Mike’ has 50 professional wins out of which a whopping 44 were knockouts. His brutality brought fear which was evident in the eyes of his opponents.

Joe Rogan‘s affection and respect for Mike Tyson is the reason that he has called the former heavyweight champion to his podcast twice. There’s this one time when Tyson got all serious during a conversation and Rogan stopped joking around and got tense.
Mike said: “I’m being very serious.” Rogan agreed with Tyson and replied, “I know you’re being serious, but I mean, no one will understand that.” Rogan launched and added, “Who the f**k is gonna say that dude?”

The seriousness on Tyson’s face was clearly visible as he mentioned, “They do, hey, hey, hey, oh! I was I listened I was there somewhere around nothing if that’s no somebody on drugs you don’t tell me no you tell me now be honest be that’s not somebody high you tell me.”
That moment went viral on the internet as all the fight fans made memes about it and shared a laugh. Tyson has moved on from his life as a boxer and now he is an influencer who goes to events and makes movies. Nevertheless, listening to Tyson telling stories about his life is still a lot of fans love to do.
