Joe Rogan has been the biggest Mike Tyson fan since his childhood. The UFC commentator has shown nothing but the utmost respect and love towards the legendary heavyweight.
If you’re a fan of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, you know that Joe always manages to stir conversations around either fighting, the wildlife, or DMT. Irrespective of the guest, Rogan just can’t contain his passion for the sport of boxing and mixed martial arts. The combat sports connoisseur is one of the biggest Mike Tyson fans and gets very excited when he or his guests bring up the heavyweight boxer’s name.
In one such episode with his dear comedian friend Joey Diaz, Rogan spoke about the scariest version of Tyson. The podcast host absolutely geeks about how brutal and dangerous the former heavyweight was inside the boxing ring. Rogan picks the Tyson from the late 80s to go up against any boxer that has ever lived. To make things clearer to his guest, Rogan plays a clip from the legendary fight between Tyson and Marvin Frazier.

Mike took on Marvis Frazier on July 26, 1986. According to Joe, during this time period, Tyson was the best boxer to have ever lived. Though this fight had no title on the line, this knockout is still today one of the deadliest ones in the history of boxing.
“This is Tyson in his most destructive best. Tyson destroyed Marvis Frazier in the most violent fight in boxing I have ever seen in a boxing match,” said Joe about Tyson’s savage performance against Frazier. “I thought to myself if there was one person that would be the most terrifying person to be encountered with, it would be Tyson,” added Rogan.

“Tyson just stepped to him and just started f***ing blasting him. Got him in this corner right here and then BING! BING BING BING BING [Rogan makes noises of Tyson’s final blows to Frazier’s chin] and that’s all before he can fall down. He’s [Frazier] already unconscious,” Rogan was geeking out with Joey Diaz as his guest.
