After coming out of his retirement Tyson Fury called out Anthony Joshua for a title fight. This was right after AJ’s loss against Usyk in Saudi Arabia. What was going to be Joshua’s redemption fight turned out to be a massive loss of confidence for the British. However, the Fury call-out was unexpected and was a great opportunity for Joshua to fight for the title.

Fury also announced that he is ready to split the fight purse to 60/40 which was an amazing deal for Joshua. After both the fighters agreed to fight on social media, their respective promoters got into the conversation. But now it seems like Joshua is having some double thoughts. It does make sense as fighting with Tyson in December with two months of training camp is hard. Given his recent form, the fighter should take more time off the ring and come back harder. Moreover, another loss to Fury will be a nail in the coffin.
