WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is one of the best boxers of all time. His skills in footwork and speed, despite having a large frame, have earned him a unique spot in boxing. The fighter has wins over Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder. In addition to that, Fury has been open about his mental health struggles and has been an advocate for suicide prevention.
The heavyweight boxer has recently been criticized for ‘ducking’ a fight with Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukranian fighter is a dominant boxer in the ring and received a lot of praise for it. There have been a lot of rumors regarding a heavyweight tournament in Saudi Arabia involving Tyson Fury and other boxers. Deontay Wilder’s trainer, Malik Scott, confirmed it to be true. But Tyson Fury has denied the rumors.
Malik Scott said, “I can say that those rumors are true, negotiations are going on and big fights are gonna be happening – not just with us, with a lot of top heavyweights.” The boxing trainer said that he alongside Wilder has been negotiating for a heavyweight match-up. This confirmation had a lot of fans excited about the bout in Saudi Arabia.
“I can confirm these rumors are absolute BS,” said Tyson Fury. The heavyweight boxer has responded to these claims. He has officially deemed it to be false. Fans refused to believe the denial. They seemed to be excited about the super fight, and Fury’s denial had them upset.
Eddie Hearn’s response to the Tyson Fury Saudi Arabia fight

Eddie Hearn is a popular boxing promoter from Britain. He is the son of promoter Barry Hearn. Following in his father’s footsteps, Eddie has managed to bring a lot of attention to boxing. He currently runs Matchroom Boxing, a company founded by his father. He has promoted notable fighters like Kell Brook, Dillian Whyte, and Amir Khan. Although, his lead fighter is famous heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua.
With the new Saudi Arabia fight rumor, Eddie Hearn had his own thoughts. When asked about it, Hearn said “There have been no negotiations for that fight. There has been a mention of it, in terms of ‘that’s something we’d like to look at.” “For AJ[Anthony Joshua] his big fight, and it will come in the Middle East, will be in December, and that would be Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder,” said Hearn to IFL TV.
“There are definitely, conversations that have taken place of just plans where people would like to host Fury against Usyk and AJ against Wilder on the same night,” claimed Hearn. “It is going to cost a lot of money, but it will be epic and we will have those conversations.” “There is no official decision,” said Eddie Hearn. He also went on to say, “We are focusing on getting the December to fight over the line which is a fight of huge proportion.”
In the IFL TV interview, Eddie Hearn does not confirm nor deny the fight taking place. It seems like there are talks regarding the fight among promoters. But with Tyson Fury’s claim, nothing has been confirmed yet. Regardless, the fans are excited to witness a fight among the heavyweight giants.
