Former unified heavyweight champion and Canelo ex-team Andy Ruiz Jr has even given his views on Canelo’s vow to not fight another Mexican.

Andy said, “Because a Mexican against a Mexican is tough because we know these Mexicans are not going to give up, you know…So, a fight between two Mexicans for sure you can expect it’s going to be a war, it’s going to be all action.”  Ruiz further added that Canelo has already proven himself as a top fighter and has the right to decide who he wants to fight.
