“They know he can lose” – Zurdo Ramirez reveals Dmitry Bivol’s team tried to avoid fighting him
Zurdo Ramirez and Dmitry Bivol
Zurdo Ramírez and Dmitry Bivol is the much anticipated light heavyweight championship fight that is set to happen at the end of the year. But materialising the fight wasn’t that easy for Ramírez as Bivol kept on ignoring the fight for a long time. Finally, the WBA interfered and Bivol had to face Ramirez.
While talking about his opponent Bivol explained in an interview with The National that he doesn’t care about Ramírez’s trash talks and will beat him in the fight. He said :
“He talks too much, It’s not bothering me, but I’m just thinking about why he talks too much? We can just make a fight. It’s not good for people who talk, talk, talk. But we’re all different. I try to be focus only on his boxing skills and I try to think only about the fight, and not about him as a person, if he’s a good or bad person. It doesn’t matter. He’s a fighter; he’s my enemy on November 5.”

“People want to see”- Zurdo Ramirez talks about fans invested to see his upcoming fight with Dmitry Bivol
Ahead of his fight with Dmitry Bivol, Gilberto Ramírez did an interview where he spoke about his theory regarding the fight.
Ramírez claimed that Bivol and his team had no plans to make the fight because they were afraid to lose. The Mexican explained that Dmitry’s team wanted some other fight with a huge payday. He said:
“I feel like his team doesn’t want him to fight me. It’s a big fight and they know he can lose. They wanted to get him another fight, maybe get him a little more money.” Since Bivol had fought Alvarez, his face value has grown a lot hence it sensible from his side to look out of low risk high returns fight. However, that doesn’t mean he can avoid the deserving opponents.
Ramírez then went on to mention that the fight fans want to see Bivol vs Ramírez because both are true warriors and will put on a great show.
“But everyone wants to see this fight. We are two warriors in the ring and it’s a fight that people want to see,” said Ramírez.
Bivol vs Ramírez is all set to take place on 5th November inside the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. As Ramírez said, the fans are really excited about the fight and it will be an amazing pay-per-view event.
